Lucky Horseshoe was amazing, especially Carlos Milan. I had been wanting to get a tattoo for several years and finally the time was right. After stopping in at one other Ft Worth shop and having a terrible experience prior to me even sitting in the chair (needless to say I walked out) I almost decided to give up on the whole idea. But I decided to give Lucky Horseshoe a try after reading its reviews. Im so glad I did. I called up to the shop, Thomas the co-owner answered and seemed friendly and laid back. I stopped in the following day and was greeted by Carlos Milan. This experience was much different than the first shop I went to. Carlos offered to let me view the portfolios so that I could choose which artist I thought was right for my design. After talking to him further and explaining what I wanted I found that he was the guy to do it. We set the appointment, and a couple days later I got a pic of the drawing he created. Not only did he take my vision of what I wanted, but he added some more detail and created a custom tattoo of my family crest. It was perfect. When I showed up for my appointment he was ready to go and seemed almost as excited as me. To me that was a big deal because I wanted an artist who took interest in my tattoo and Carlos did just that. Once I saw the final product I was amazed. He did an incredible job, and I ended up with not only the tattoo Ive wanted for a long time, but I honestly believe it is better than what I had ever expected. I will for sure be going back to Lucky Horseshoe and especially Carlos Milan for any other tattoos.

Went in here for my 2nd tattoo. I was attended right away. I was told that Junior would take care of me. I didnt get it that day, for I wanted it to be perfect, so I left my idea with Jr so he could draw it. Next day when I came in, no fuzz I saw the design and I was impressed by Juniors creativity, talent and attention to detail... Sadly, I had to ask Junior to re-arrange how the tattoo was (dont get me wrong, tattoo was great, but I envisioned with some of what I asked on a different spot of the same tattoo). Im not bitching, nor dogging Junior, for he worked on the design until it was up to my satisfaction, never complained, no troubles, all smiles! So yes, the tattoo was effortless, he was even smiling throughout the whole thing, so you can tell he takes pride on his art and enjoys the hell out of it! We talked a lot while he was tattooing me, and this guys got soul and and an awesome outlook in life! Point being, Junior is the Shiznit, and even though Im only in Ft Worth for 3 weeks, Im already set up with him to do 4 more tattoos (when I told him what I wanted, he got super excited with my ideas and is extremely eager to bring them to life). Needless to say, when I leave, Im leaving with amazing and uniquely designed tattoos, and an awesome friendship with a super amazingly talented tattoo artist. THANKS Junior!

I really like this place! Its very welcoming. I got my first tattoo done here, and the guy who did my tattoo, Padilla (I believe was his name, sorry if I mispelled or got it wrong) he was a very sweet, funny guy. He knew I was nervous, so he was very patient with me and made me feel comfortable before anything. I plan on getting more tattoos in the future, and hes the guy Ill be going to. I also went and got my belly button done here and Stephanie was so sweet! She was very welcoming, also made conversation with you. She was very patient with me, knew I was nervous for the piercing. She worked when I was ready and a small little misunderstanding happened and she gave me a discount! I plan on getting my industrial redone, and I know where I am going to get it done! Oh, and also! Padilla, (the guy who did my tattoo) when I walked in to get my navel done, he remembered me. Which I thought was pretty cool and he made me feel at ease, and welcome once again. I really do love this place. This is the only place I ever plan on going to get my future tattoos and piercings done! Honestly 10/10!

The first time I went to Lucky Horseshoe it was Friday the 13th and the place was slammed packed. My friends and I got quotes 4 hours on the wait til like "da faq?" so we left and went somewhere else. A couple months later I stumbled back into another shop where I had go previous tattoos and chose Ron (now at Lucky Horseshoe) to be my artist for the piece I wanted. He did such amazing work on that piece that I followed him all the way to weatherford for my next piece. Well when Ron expressed he was moving permanently to Lucky Horseshoe I was excited. No more driving 30-45 minutes just to see my artist. My second time in LH was a friggin blast. Everyone is so chill and mildly hilarious if Im being honest. I never walk in or out of this establishment without a smile on my face. I get compliments on my tattoos all the time and when they ask where I got them I tell them Rons name and where hes located. Ive had a few friends go to check LH out and most have gotten some ink and love it. Best place around for Great ink and shenanigans. love this place. -K

On my initial visit, I obtained a BEAUTIFUL tattoo on my forearm by pork chop. My mom had also received a tattoo on her forearm by another artist. They are both gorgeous! I get multiple compliments daily. Pork Chop was very patient, thoughtful, kind and creative. On my second visit, I received a piercing to the helix of my ear by Ryan. He did a WONDERFUL job!! It was almost painless!! It looks fantastic! Ryan was also very patient, thoughtful and kind. I would 100% recommend this studio!! They are very professional, knowledgeable, honest, clean, and caring. It is obvious that they take pride in their art/work and enjoy working there. The studio itself is well lit, well kept and welcoming. I went back today (Nov) and got another tattoo by Nate. He did AMAZING!! I love it! So much detail and great color scheme! Looks much better than the initial picture I brought him. Great job as always! Clean shop, professional and pleasant. :)

Tonight I returned for my third tattoo because this place is so awesome I have no desire to go anywhere else. Ive had a different artist each time Ive been here and Ive been pleased with the quality of each one. This shop has very talented artists! On this visit I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Thomas, who took an interest in what I wanted and heard what I was trying to convey. I had a piece that I liked, it has special meaning to me, but I wasnt loving it. Thomas heard me, looked at some ideas I had, and then came up with just what I was looking for but wasnt able to articulate well. He made me feel like he had a vested interest in me walking away with a piece I loved. In a little over two hours I walked away with two things: An awesome piece I now love! An experience that Ive never had in a tattoo shop! Thomas is a great businessman with a model that other tattoo shops should strive to follow!
