i went in to best buy the other day and had a question about a car audio part. i went to the audio section and was helped by the guy working in that department. I showed him what i needed and he had no idea what that part was even though it was on the website and had ME go into the car installation bay and find that part myself. The following day i just had a price question so i called up there and was put on hold for 30 minutes because of 2 people ahead of me in the audio department. so i hung up and called back 30 minutes later and it still said there was still 2 people ahead of me. i dont know how hard it is to just pick up a phone. also when you go in the store there are tons of employees everywhere which would be great if they actually would help customers rather than talking to each other in big groups while customers walk around aimlessly.

I have bought computers at best buys in many states and of all those purchases, this store was a completely bad experience from start to finish...the sales staff seemed annoyed that they were asked to work and had a difficult time getting my purchase complete. I should have stopped there but hoped that the Tech People would save the day, but they were even worse. They ended up deleting everything on my old hard drive, and fumbled around for an entire week getting the new laptop running. I finally went to the management and one Assistant manager tried to make things right, but managing incompetent people is pretty difficult. I actually had to take the computer to another tech provider to get the computer running properly. Go up to the Allen or Plano stores even though its a bit of a drive...you will get what you would expect.

I live close by and therefore buy most of my techie stuff here.. No more.. Ive tried to buy an apple iPad three times and all three times got tired of standing at the counter listening to the employees personal storys (with eachother).. Yesterday was the last... I reported this to the manager in charge on my way out. I actually took lunch early from work 10:30 am so it would not be busy. The one gentleman behind the counter did finally acknowledged me but then went on and on chitty chatting with the cute girl he was helping all the while another employee was discussing with (looked to be a friend) customer about his job etc... Crazy... So many employees in the store walked by me and never once asked if I needed help? Like I needed asked standing at the counter for 45 minutes?

Bought a FitBit Flex in the color I wanted and it didnt work. Took it back to get another one, they didnt have anymore in that color so I suggested that they switch the bands out. They suggested that I buy a box of extra bands that didnt even have that color in it. They would not even consider switching the bands but they were kind enough to look and see which stores did have that color and told me I could go get one there. Well ya know what? I am not going to bother to go to a differnt store, I am going to take my money to Frys and buy one there. Best Buy, you are never getting any more of my money!!!

I bought some anti-virus software due to a computer virus, and when I attempt to install it doesnt work. I assume due to the virus. I then reboot into safe mode with networking and download from norton directly, and purchase the license from the norton site. I go to return the software, and they say it is a federal law that it is illegal to return opened software. All research I have done indicates this is nonsense, and only store policy. I suppose its also store policy to lie as to why. Its not as if a copy of the software is useful if I dont use the license key. This is the last time I use Best Buy.

i am a long time customer of best buy (different locations in texas and out of state), but my last experience at the flower mound location will be my last one. no customers in the store, lots of employees standing around, no one in the appliance dept; ask at the info desk for assistance. apparently, no employee is knowledgable about appliances or shows any interest in selling one! this group of best buy associates and management deserve an unfavorable rating. their products and prices are comparable to their competitors, but the customer service is inferior, apathetic and uninformed.

Following my recent experience at this store, I wanted to write a review to publicly say "Thank You!" to the Customer Service Team. They were very helpful with a complicated order/issue and made me feel confident that everything was taken care of before I left. Between the them, the people in the computer and phone departments, the team at this store has definitely won me over. I want to give a special shout out to Justin M, with the Geek Squad... He was fantastic at coordinating things between two separate stores to make everything I needed work out! Thank you, Justin!,

Ive been in this store several times and have always had a great experience. Recently went on Fathers Day to buy a last minute gift (laptop) for my dad. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all about all those warranties and extras they often try to sell you. I had done my research and had it narrowed down to 3 computers. He gave me the scoop (pros and cons of each) and didnt try to sell me the most expensive one. He actually recommended a different one due to better processor. I made my decision and was in and out in less than 20 minutes!

I have shopped at this store for 5 years. It is great and their employees have always been helpful. They do not become a pest when I am just looking. I have purchased everything from appliances, to computers, to the latest TVs and sound systems. I used Geek Squad for some, not all purchases and am very please with their work. One thing to remember, is that Best Buy will match the price of any thing you want to buy elsewhere. I like it because I dont have to run all over town to get what I want and know the products I buy are backed by Best Buy.

The manager Justin provided the best retail customer service I have ever had. He personally called me to inform me about a very limited stock (only 1) item that would be available at a midnight store opening. I was able to get in line first (the lines were clearly marked and enforced well) and leave with the product (BotW: Master Edition) in hand minutes after midnight. I highly recommend this Best Buy location for any limited stock and special opening events. They have handled previous events (amiibo) extremely well also.

I would give this 3 stars, but there are some good people here. However, whenever I go, I swear I have to hunt for an employee. Not to mention, last time I went, one of their employees had quite the tone while helping another customer. Honestly, he sounded so demeaning that I wanted to try and talk to the woman myself and explain to her how a product worked in a way that she would understand instead of treating her like an idiot.
