The only good thing I can say about this place is that I live two blocks away so its convenient. Have to agree with Elena on the flies comment. That is something I notice every time I go in. I mean they are EVERYWHERE. I noticed some on the sandwich meat dead and alive. Not too long ago I bought 2 paleta payasos. One for myself and one for my 7 month old daughter. I opened one up and it tasted terrible! I look at it and it was rotten and literally had cob webs coming out of the gum drops. Im just glad I tried it first before giving it to my little girl. I recommend avoiding this place at all costs. If you absolutely must go, I highly advise you check the expiration dates on the products. This place does not believe in rotating products to keep them fresh. Oh FYI I went other day and saw a mouse run by me in front of one of the aisles. If things are that gross in front, I can only imagine how bad things are in the back where they actually prepare food like meat and bakery section. I cant say much for the workers. With the exception of one time none have been rude to me. They just dont look to happy to be there.

Getting worse ,at deli its like almost a 10-15min wait to get attended cause one employee is already attending one customer while inside are 2 employees making sure things are getting done out there my ?? Is whats more important customers or the store itself....Ill be looking for another place to shop bcuz its not the first nor 2 nd time this happens to me just fed up.....SORRY

This is the most discusting place full of flies,all over the place, on the fruit on the meat not to mention the employees are the rudest old women ever ,you feel like your freakin bothering them, the have sopposobly a girl in charge which is freakin clueless. HATE HATE HATE that place hopefully not all big 8 are like this.

Have shopped here since I was a kid with my mother before it was Lowes. Good prices and good selection of products for our citys large Mexican population.. more stores need to take a hint. Small specialty sections like we arent living on the border.

Apparently some of the employees (and even the manager) dont know what some of their products are or what is being advertised in their circulars. Also, alot of times they dont have available in stock what they are advertising.

Big 8 is about savings, not the experience. The store always smells a little, and the meat section isnt that appealing to me personally, but the deals on canned food and store brand items cannot be beat.
