Went in there to get a loan on a $60 pair of 14k gold ball studs earrings. The moreon took the earrings and completely flattened one of the balls and bent rod and destroyed my $60 pair of earrings. When I talk to the manager whose name tag only says customer service manager, looks at the earrings and completly repremands the employee told him that is not how we do it. Then the manager comes to me and says eveyone test metal in this manner and the balls were hollow and only worth like $4 in gold weight. And the $10 that was offered to me was more than fair and he could not do anything else for me. Bad bad bad business bad customer service wont ever visit again.

The staff was not bad / but their were two persons in the store loudly announcing their crack and method addiction - they were checking product numbers and parts on literally everything in the store , they needed everyone in the store to know about their additional addiction of balligerant cattynes and how it should effect prices, they called the white guy that works their " baby" about 3 times ( it was quite uncomfortable) , I am just thankful that I am not forced to hear the words pepto pink every 30 seconds for the rest of -

Big State Pawn has changed ownership, they are now owned by a corporation. The name on the receipt is First Cash Pawn #330. The employees are wonderful as long as you are giving them money. But if you have an issue..... you are on your own. Dont even bother telling them about your problem, they do NOT care. Be extremely sure you want what they are selling, because once they have your money they wash their hands of any responsibility. I will NOT be stepping foot in their doors again, I just lost $72.00.

This is my go to pawn shop weather im buying or selling, the people are awesome and always in a good mood with smiles and cheer to spare, Scott tejas is one of my favourites hes always got jokes or something to to say that helps to lighten your spirits. If you havent been to big state yet I suggest you check it out soon, its a must for good cheap merch.

For the location, a person wouldnt expect to be greeted with such a variety of quality items and a genuinely friendly staff. my experience there was better than most any other pawn business I have been to. Great prices and willing to negotiate towards a higher desired price if pawning or selling your own items.
