This store is a hidden gem. Heres the thing The store is a classic, old school thrift store, from the moment you walk in, there is a strong thrift store smell and I mean strong. Its not the most organized, its small but you can find your way around. To the naked eye it may seem like theres not a lot to pick from but if you are an avid thrifter like me, you know that you have to dig to find the hidden gems. What I loved most: -If you dig, the selection of boutique brand clothes, name brand and other is pretty good. - really good selection of the old school high waisted pants, jeans and shorts that can be revamped if youre good with a sewing machine or just leave it be and rock your mom jeans. - selection of vintage furniture was awesome - heres my favorite part of all This store actually prices their items the way you expect a thrift store to charge. For the most part A large percentage of their items, including pants, jeans, shorts, tops you name it were priced at $2.00 never going over $3. You do find some items over $5 but from what I could tell, every clothing item I chose was less than $3.00. All shoes $4 I did not interact with the staff very much. I was greeted upon entering, check out person was nice, but I thrift a lot so I really dont interact with staff unless I need too.

Love, love, love this store! What makes it so kewl, is the awesome owners. Most thrift stores have so much stuff donated ,they just trash it all, some I believe its an all day job ,just throwing away donations . Go behind your local thrift stores ,they will be there breaking every thing thats breakable, by the way ,WAS in perfect condition. So many do without,I dont un theftderstand ,why wont they re-donate or do what Urban Thrift does(offers free stuff in front of store& post ads on free -stuff list for stuff behind the store. The supreme court made it absolutely legal to dumpster dive but dont try to recycle from another thrift store they will chase you off with baseball bats, dumpster divers is why they destroy everything. Its not like its food products that could lead to a court case,or any refund scam ,or any worry of identity theft, so why?Its donated to them anyway. If you want more research on this subject you can send a request to , no spaces,no caps fearlessfreelancewriter14all@gmail

Love this place!!! Urban Thrift has a lot of things to offer and many great finds! There are a lot items with tons of potential. With a little creativity, you can turn anything into a useful item in your home. I have several things from Urban Thrift. I even bought two broken chairs and am planning to fix them up. To Yajaira who “bought something that didn’t work” and is “never going back” because of that…what do you expect from a thrift store??? This isn’t The Dollar Store or Walmart. If you are looking for affordable decent clothing because you are on a super tight budget, this is the place for you. Or, maybe you are looking for a weekend project, shop here! New things are always arriving so you never know what you’ll find. The staff is great and friendly. The atmosphere is very inviting. Great prices too. Sometimes I just go in to browse and not buy and they are OK with that too.

Love this store and if I see something I want online, I can request an invoice if the item is still available and that it is after 10:30am and before they close. I have an hour to purchase it via Pay Pal...and they hold it for 7 days (but I pick it up within 2) the prices are good, yeah they have been going up lately but then they are getting a lot of antiques and new items. but I am hoping they will lower them later. Would like more clothing options and some games and toys. They have plugs to test the item you want before you buy.... but like ALL thrift stores ALL SALES ARE FINAL....just choose wisely and be a person that takes a chance...I do its like a hit and miss.

This is probably my favorite thrift store in the area! Theyre not perfect, but theyre better than the rest! The employees are friendly - Ive had several great conversations with them! Every single time Ive been in here, even on weekends, theyre putting out new stuff! And the prices are INSANELY cheap! Theres no where I know of that does cheaper clothing! A really cool thing about this place is that theyre local and young guys, and if you follow them on facebook, you can see what furniture and unique items theyve gotten in recently! I really like the way theyre doing things!

Place was dusty, small and crammed. Sure it was cheaper than anything I have seen. But what good is that when I cant find anything to buy. Their clothing section is small and takes probably less than 40% of their space. I could not find any clothes or shoes that were not heavily used. Their fitting room is original but crammed and messy. I rather go to another store where Im sure Ill find something. The store smelled like dust...

I have never found anything good here. It looks like all the teen employees take all the good stuff for themselves (I brought a donation in and they all fought over it like it was a bag of money). Imagine that there was 1000 garage sales and after the sale was over all the left over crap is what this Thrift Store is like. Also the Employees are loud and yell and talk to each other across the whole store.

One of our favorite thrift stores on the east/north-east side of Dallas. Nice selection, never too crowded, and usually tidy. They do a good job rotating the merchandise so theres always some new items. Good selection of home goods and furniture. Lots of unique items. Prices are decent on clothing. The furniture seems a little pricy but they do mark down the stuff that doesnt sell quickly.

I hesitate to write a review because I selfishly dont want too many people to know about this gem. I have scored several amazing deals here. It is the kind of place you have to check often because you never know what they might have. Most items are priced pretty fairly, with some really great deals to be had from time to time. Like they say, one mans trash is another mans treasure.

Disorganized, very dirty and poor selection..... Advised employees to not sell items without price instead of getting a manager to price item. Poor customer service and etiquette. Teenage employees throwing things around and horse playing in very small store. First and last time.. Go further if needed. No outlets to check items so ended up buying two broken things.

I had been to 4 or 5 other thrift shops on that day and this was by far the best one. The staff is nice, there are tons of great vintage items at a low price, and the entire place seems to convey the sort of attitude one would expect from a small but great thrift.

Urban Thrift is a "box of chocolates"... never know what youll find. Love the young, helpful staff. They do a good job of keeping it organized and easy to navigate. Im a fan.

I love this place for furniture type items. If you follow them on Facebook, they post all their new good stuff online so you can check it out before you get there.
