I was helped by a cashier named Francelia (according to my receipt), and my card was declined. So while I checked my balance on my card while my husband tried to pay with his card in which it got declined too!!! So we were like okay than its not our account getting declined especially because we had two different bank companies. I informed the cashier and we kept trying again and it just kept getting declined. Luckily my husband had cash on him to pay the bill. So when he paid I informed the lady that they might want to check their card machine system and she nodded and gave me an attitude saying that it was my card getting declined. Of course I got an attitude back after how she talk to me like how she did and informed her how can two bank accounts decline a $27 transaction. I even called my bank after and they informed me that my card didnt have any holds and that it had to do with the managers account not being valid under the credit card machine. She needs to learn customer service even if the customer is right or wrong. She couldve of politely said okay Ill tall to my manager, but I felt insulted that she said my card was declined as if I didnt have any money. Im not rich but I have enough for my small groceries.

This is where i buy all the groceries. The prices are OK. There is always 2 day special in which they reduce prices on food or products we buy on the regular. Ive never encountered a rude employee here. They all seem to get along with each other. They have a sea food section, something unusual around this area. They have live catfish and crabs. They sell cakes here and you can order one with special details. They sell lottery tickets. They have a mini Mexican restaurant inside and a tiny ice cream shop as well. The drinks are delicious in Spanish theyre called "aguas naturales", which means natural waters. They are just sweet fruit juices that are hand made, like pineapple, limeade, or melon flavor. On busy days the line takes about 20 minutes. Its not like Walmart though. This store does have many cash registers open and opens up more if necessary. They also have i think about 4 speed checkouts limit 10 or 15 items

Long lines. And the store manager and the DAO say they care about customers. But if they cared that much they wouldnt make people wait in line for hours. They care more about saving a few pennies. The store is so dirty and smells like ****. It needs a remodel. And the store manager and district manager need to resign and let someone else take over. lack of security considering the location. And the fact that theres an insane asylum 50 feet away. And they do frequently get loose. And hang out in front of the store all day. Selling crack and soliciting of prostration. All the employees are really nice though. Its not their fault their Captain is asleep at the wheel. My advice is go to Tom Thumb.

Esta tienda son unos raciastas, estupidos No atienden bien aos clientes y si pagas con una targeta de debito no te la aceptan si no tienes un id de texas y aunque te sepas el pin no aceptan aparte todo esta 3 veces mas caro que el rio grande no visiten esta tienda se van a llevar un dolor de cabeza recomiendo 100% el rio grande...

I havent been to this store in years, but I saw there was a good sale on catfish so I came in. (2/25/17) While shopping with my toddler, a woman approached me in the store and asked for money!! Then while standing in the checkout line for a good 2-3 minutes the cashier put up a "lane closed" sign and I had to go to another lane!! How are you going to close the line after Ive been standing there???

I used to come here a lot when I lived on Bishop Balling on a budget, they have a wide selection of fruits and vegetables everything is easy to find, affordable prices. I could go there and spend $60 on a family of 5 weeks groceries, they offer you a ride if you spend $60 or more worth of groceries at their store. (well because people keep taking their carts)

cant get lots of American items like thick sliced meat or sourdough bread. limited selection on most items. Twenty brands of Ranch dressing and only two other types of dressing.
