After two disastrous, money-wasting experiences, I will never step foot in this trainwreck of a store again. My first purchase was a pair of prescription sunglasses; they tried to pass off clear, untinted shades as the product I ordered, and then blamed their vendor for the mistake. Their vendors were also blamed every subsequent delay over the ensuing 10 weeks (!!!) it took for my sunglasses to be ready. Despite this absurd and infuriating experience, they promised I would be 100% satisfied if I gave them a second try. Long story short: they busted the nose piece of a pair of designer eyeglasses costing nearly $500, and when they were unable to fix them after several attempts, they refused to refund my money -- again, despite their guarantee at the time of payment that I would be thrilled with my purchase, and despite me bringing the defect to their attention immediately upon receipt of the eyewear. The store manager had the audacity to accuse me of being fussy... and brought up my original objection to the clear-lensed "sunglasses" as evidence of this! She was trying to save face in front of customers, but not only did she rip me off completely, she insulted my integrity. Im now left with a totally useless pair of glasses that dont fit (due to their incompetence/carelessness) and $500 poorer. Buyer beware. They try to present themselves as "high end," and certainly price themselves accordingly, but youll get better service and a better product at dang Lenscrafters. Zero stars, bordering on fraudulent business practices.

Im only giving them 2 stars because the actual building and equipment is great. The receptionists are nice and attentive. Im a grad student just moved here and lost my glasses so I needed new ones. I made the decision go this place because I googled opticals and they had pretty good reviews. I dont see how. Mr. Bashover, he needs be thought manners. Was completely unprofessional and made me feel completely unprofessional. I was so uncomfortable, seriously...someone who works with people everyday he has no people skills. Or maybe its because he thought I couldnt afford it? Or lack of diversity in his life? Who knows, but as soon as I got my prescription I left immediately elsewhere and purchased my frames and lenses elsewhere! Horrible. (Arlington location)

Great service. I live close to the Downtown location. Even though they were closed, I was still able to pickup my glasses on the way home from work. Great choice of glasses. In the past Ive had to go to as many as 5 stores to find a pair that fit. Tarayn was very helpful and patient as I went through a pile of glasses options. She gave me feedback on what worked and what didnt. Then ultimately after reaching a decision she suggested a few small tweaks that made my selection fit even better. I havent used the Dr. But based on my 2 first experiences, shopping and pickup, Ill more then likely be switching.

It took a grand total of 44 days, almost 1.5 months, to process the order for my glasses. I called them 4 times over the course of 6 weeks and every time I called they said they would be ready the next day and they would call me when they were ready. They only called me once, 40 days after my eye exam to tell me they would be ready the next day. The location is very close to my office, which is one good thing. But what is the point of going to see an optometrist if they cant even give you glasses in a timely fashion?

Doctor was okay, she at least tried to get her incompetent and sometimes rude receptionists under control. Was mislead more than once. Took me 3 months to get everything straightened out and to get my contacts and THEN have to jump through hoops to get a rebate, with no help from the staff. One of the girls up there goes above and beyond, the rest of those girls should take a lesson from Giselle. Gave it 3 chances, will NOT be back.

The optometrist, Dr. Diane Mosbacher, wasnt interested in me or my husband. She got us in and out as quickly as possible after we waited in the lobby well past our scheduled appointment times (at least 45 minutes). I believe she asked a mere 2 questions total, answered mine with annoyance and had no interest in my personal needs. There is a doctor thats a millions times better just a 5 minute walk away from this horrid place.

This place is amazing!! Just got the newest Ray Ban sunglasses customized to my prescription. Dr Mosbacher was so pleasant to work with, and was so knowledgeable. I can now drive safely, while looking cool at the same time. I would highly recommend anyone who needs Glasses or sunglasses to check out this store. I love my new sunglasses!! Thanks Dr. Mosbacher!

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The doctor spent a long time examining and listening to the patient, and was very meticulous. They also have really great prices for contacts, even compared to 1800Contacts! Not to mention that their frames are as stylish as ever:) I would highly recommend their business. Go Accent Optical!
