I took my iPhone to the Fixtronics at 1908 E Beltline Rd. in Carrollton on 9/26/16 for two things: to have it carrier unlocked seeing as I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile and to have a cracked screen replaced. The associate I dealt with told me the unlocking fee would cost $40 and that it would take 24-48 hrs. to process. It is now 10/3/16 and my phone still has yet to be unlocked. I have contacted and returned to the store multiple times only to hear it is "still processing" or "they have not received notification on the status of the unlock". To make matters worse, the touch screen is now acting improperly by repeating letters multiple times while typing or just not responding to my touch at all. Decided to recycle my old phone and buy a new one. I would not recommend taking your phone to be repaired to this specific branch.

If you want to get something fixed DO NOT COME HERE. I gave him my $200 scuf controller and he said he could fix it and he only made it worst (then I gave him three chances to fix it). I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU THIS PLACE. When I did not get a call back I called the store and was told and I quote " Sorry, Sir ,but I lost your phone number". This is the quality service you can expect from this place. Let it be known I went three times to give him a chance to fix the issue that he did not fix correctly. I wasted my gas, money, and time. This place obviously has a lack of experience in fixing gaming consoles or accessories.

I am truly beyond pleased with my screen replacement. It was flawless. I have a MacBook Pro laptop, it had a shattered screen and I thought there was no way it could be fixed. Little did I know that wasnt the case. The man who runs this location is amazing, his loyalty and dedication to his customers is remarkable. He ordered my parts that day, and called me when they arrived a day after. I left my computer there for a day, and came back to a perfect screen. I would reccomend this place to anyone looking for screen replacement or any electronic need. Thank you Fixtronics!

Honestly, there are plenty of repair shops you can get your devices fixed. What makes this particular place stand out from other places is their professionalism accompanied by their integrity. First of all, youre greeted like a friend when you step inside; the owner does more than just acknowledge your presence. Also, you get no surprises with your repairs; owner will tell you whether a repair is going to be worth it or not prior to transaction. Next time you have a cracked screen or water damage (or whatever really), give them a chance to make you a customer for life.

I had my laptop checked here to diagnose the issues of not turning on. It took a week to diagnose my laptop to find out that the ram or memory was bad. Also the screws on the bottom of my laptop will not put it back in. Great customer service but I wouldnt bring my laptop back.
