Absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced! On Tuesday I went into this shop after work to get a loan. I called ahead to make sure they would be open and made it there about 15 minutes to close. There were two guys working. A slim younger gentleman and rotund middle aged guy who seemed like the manager. As I walked thru the door I was greeted by the younger guy with "What you got?"... Now, not the best way to greet a customer, but he said it in a generally friendlyish way. I explained that I was there for a loan and had brought some coins as collateral. Before I could even finish my sentence the older one says "we dont do coins". I explained that I understand they do not pay for the numismatic value of the coin (most pawn shops dont), but they are all pure silver bullion. Again before I could complete my sentence he repeated "we dont do coins". I asked if they buy silver. He said "yes". I explained I only wanted a small loan, and that the silver content of the coins was worth way more than I was asking. He just repeated "we dont do coins". I know it was close to the end of the day, but that is no excuse to be treating people so dismissively. He didnt even look at the coins or ask how much I was looking for, lol. I hope some senior management reads this because what I had in my PCGS slab holders was the full American Silver Eagle series from 1986 to present all graded and slabbed by PCGS to be either MS69 or MS70. Thats 30 ounces of silver, and all I wanted was a $130 loan! For those who dont know the silver value of 30 ounces at the time I write this is around $600, and the book value of the collection is well over $1500... This dude had the opportunity to pay $130 for what would have been a quick flip for $570 profit to any metal buyer in the world or a $1300+ if they took the time to sell it on eBay. (This wouldnt have actually happened because I would be a moron to not pick them back up) Even though it was very close to 7:00 I was able to make it to Cash America right down the road. They explained that they couldnt do much on silver, but SURPRISE they offered more then I needed. (Because you would have to be really stupid not to) I borrowed the $130 and had a good laugh with the folks there about the guys down the road. Long story short; don’t go to these guys if you want to be treated fairly... Or even like a person.

I had been to this pawn shop a couple of times before today, buying various things. One of my purchases was a lawnmower which needed significant repairs after brief use. After spending another $70 on it, the lawnmower worked for about 45 minutes before the engine blew up. Knowing that a fair amount of risk is involved when buying used products, I didnt complain. Today I visited the store during my lunch break to get a small loan for three days; just a little pocket money until payday to cover for unexpected expenses. I brought some computer equipment as collateral, including the 17" laptop Im typing this on. I informed them that I brought the AC adapter in with it since the battery wasnt very good. I shouldnt have said anything I suppose as the battery will still get 30 mins to an hour of battery life, but I like to be honest and figured it didnt matter since I was only looking for a $40-50 loan for three days. I was turned away. I really couldnt believe it. The guy said they pretty much take anything of value, but yet my collateral worth far more than the tiny loan was rejected. Needless to say, Ill never be purchasing anything from them again. Im glad this happened before I decide to make another pawn shop purchase so I know to avoid them.

GO TO CASH AMERICA PAWN!!! Its right down the road. Just got back from this place and the experience was a quick waste of time. Haha my fiancé and I just moved into the domain and while unpacking we came across a few items that we didnt need any more; stungun, pepper spray, iclicker, 2016 iPod touch 128gb, 2007 iPod classic 80gb, along with a drill and the charger. Well as soon as I walked in got stuck waiting on the employee, a really heavy set guy, to finish up his story to one of his friends about a car crash he got into in his scion which happen to hurt his left arm. After waiting for about 10 minutes, he asked to look in my box. I lifted the lid for a good 5 seconds and he said "nah, its all old. We dont want it." and went back to his story about his scion. The funny this is, is that I went to Cash America Pawn, right down the road, and they took all my stuff for what I asked. 60 bucks. Lol I also threw in my old finder guitar as well.

I was having some hard times and took out a loan on a Keurig coffee machine and a tablet. The Keurig was an older model and the tablet was aging. They offered $45 on a loan. That is all I needed, so I took it. I have another Keurig and I rarely used the tablet, so I forgot about it. I remembered 5 days past the due date. I called and they have the items, but demand I pay the shop prices to get them back. They are definitely withing their rights to do this, but I am a repeat customer. I have bought a number of things from them as well as sold. They are willing to lose a repeat customer over $10-$20 one time profit off of my items. These are foolish people who wont be getting my business again. I would advise to avoid like the others who have posted here.

Went in and looked at the guns and the gentleman stated he couldnt sell me any guns without a concealed permit. Since when do you need a permit to buy a gun in the state of Texas? Turned around and walked out. I would suggest you do not give them your business or time.

The guys that work here are really nice and try to help. I have been offered more here usually than places down the street. While they dont take as much as other shops, they do have good quality products for sale and good prices.
