Wed had a tough week. But on our way home on Friday night, we drove by Krispy Kreme and the glowing red sign said, "I love you!" (My partner thinks it said "Hot Now," but he needs glasses.) My favorite donuts in the world are born at KK: chocolate-iced, cream-filled. (Not to be confused with chocolate ice cream-filled.) We turned around and went in to savor our free, freshly made original glazed donuts and pondered our order. Well, my partner pondered, because I only have eyes for one donut. And then we were next in line and I said something like, "Ill take a million dozen chocolate-iced, cream-filled donuts." And they were OUT! No amount of apologies from the polite gentleman behind the counter could heal my broken heart. We thought about leaving without buying any, but eventually we picked out a dozen for my partner and our housemate. I was dejected. It felt like the universe didnt want me to have any dessert. What kind of hellish world of first world problems do we live in?!?!? But then, as we pulled out of the parking lot, an angel stood under the glowing red sign holding a small bag of magic. Magic that could heal this poor, broken soul. Two chocolate-iced, cream-filled donuts. I rolled down my window, and he bellowed with the voice of God: "They were on the wrong tray." I kindly accepted the sack of sugary goodness from the gentleman who had served us, and drove off with tears of joy in my eyes. Thats some great customer service.

Worst Customer Service ever. I love Krispy Kreme donuts and coffee, but every morning I pass Krispy and head on down to DUNCAN DONUTS due to the extreme difference in customer service. There is an older white male who may or may not wear glasses and may or may not be the manager but hes there almost every time iv gone in the morning around 7:15am and hes SO RUDE. Doesnt say goodmorning, doesnt smile, doesnt talk back... and when he does hes rude. He looks miserable and oozes the fact that he hates his life and HIS JOB. & I dont want to start my mornings off with a negative vibe so I go to duncan donuts ... I dont need a super chipper bubbly person to take my order... but I dont need a rude person to take my order every morning either....

I went here once to pick up some donuts for a client. If I ever get donuts I try to stay away from the chains, but when I came to this Krispy Cream to pick up my order at the drive thru I couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised. An amazing woman by the name of Christine greeted me. For a second I thought I was at a mom-and-pops donut store because of how warm and welcoming Christine was. The donuts were ready in literally 15 seconds and the transaction couldnt have been more pleasant. Ive gone back many times since then, and the extra calories and grams of sugar are worth it. Christines smile is contagious. This is a great place with consistent quality and amazing customer service.

It was but a dozen get one .80 day. The line was down the frontage road, it only took about 30 minutes to filter to the front. I ordered at the menu in the drive threw. They couldnt find my orderat the window and insisted I hadnt ordered. Then she tried once again giving me the wrong order even though i just told her what my order was. She once again said she never got my order art the machine. (Ok, I understand the mix up, but I just verbally gave it to you) Eventually she checked me out and I was in my way with the correct order. Yummy! Best donuts ever! Fresh and hot!

Really keeps up with the standard of Krispy Kreme donuts anywhere, but is not really the best one Ive ever been to since they dont seem to have the hot donuts as frequently as some other places (I am not 100% sure about this). As it has been probably been said before, go when the green light is on because they give out free hot donuts, which quite simply the best anyone can have anywhere. I continue to be a huge fan of this place and will absolutely return in a heartbeat.

When fresh, the donuts are delicious. It can be a crap shoot as to whether they have the featured donuts or even regular donuts like Boston creme; Ive had to play a game of 20 questions in the drive through asking for several types of donuts only to be told "were out of that" for each one. Whether you get a free fresh original donut inside the shop depends on the mood of the employee, Ive had a couple of times when the patrons in front of me are given them but Im not.

Until recently I thought this Krispy Kreme was the only 24 hour donut shop north of Kens on Guadalupe. I like the flavor of their donuts but find they have way too much sugar in their toppings for me. Try Mrs. Johnsons instead...they are on Airport Blvd. near 51st, easy to get to, open 24 hours, have a drivethrough...and you will be supporting a very old Austin business instead of a nationwide chain. AND THEIR DONUTS ARE WAAAAYYYYY BETTER!!!! (and cheaper, too!)

This is the second time I go there and I only came back bc my husband likes the donuts but the woman was rude and impatient. Tell your staff that you have a lot of options, thats why people take a while to choose. And they at least have to be nice to people. Its ok not to be very social but they hardly ever smile. Im never coming back to that place. Such a poor and unpleasant service.

Love Love Love these doughnuts and getting a free doughnut coupon for my birthday was icing on the cake! They have fresh doughnuts and a huge selection. There Kolaches are amazing!!! And sometimes during the day they give away free sugar glazed doughnuts to try - look for the light! The service was fast and good and the prices decent.

The only time Ive ever had a great donut here is around Valentines Day when they have the heart-shaped raspberry-filled donut with red icing and chocolate atop. Occasionally I can take the chocolate cake glazed donuts, or the regular glazed donuts that they stock out the wazoo, but their variety cant compare to Dunkin Donuts.

Krispy Kreme... need I say more?? This location is very clean and efficient. The workers are very friendly and polite. I love Krispy Kreme more than Dunkin Donuts down the street. Ive heard through the grapevine that Krispy Kreme is an acquired taste, but I have not found anyone who doesnt like their sugary goodness.

The starts, but mute because I find the people who come here seem to have some serious dont choosing issues. But all in all, a great drive through donut joint, if you like krispy kreme style donuts. I like that they do a lot if interactive things, like a free dozen for dressing up in certain days and their fundraisers.

After a good meal, Krispy Kreme is a great place to have an inexpensive dessert. Unfortunately the walls and tile are nast filthy, tables and floor..sure do need cleaning, furniture is nasty... not good when serving food. Staff needs to constantly keep this up and maintained properly. Fix it guys! Its important.
