We go in here all the time, and the few times we have been the atmosphere is so unfriendly. No one talks to you or greets you, the floor has no one around. So if you need help, your SOL. Also, the few times we asked where things were we were pointed in completely the wrong direction. So today, we went in to get fabric. The fabric was on sale for 25% off and it was 39.99 per yard. I got less than a quarter , after being told I could only get four inches without a hello or anything. It was quite rude, and shes never friendly. So I get the slip back and it changed me for a full yard, when I had LESS than a quarter. If I had to get a quarter to get the cheaper price, fine. But none of the employees helped give us this knowledge. I asked the woman at the counter, and she just said yeah thats right. That makes no sense considering a quarter should have been 8 dollars tops. Totally not cool and I wont be going in here again.

Joanns does not stand by their return policy! My receipt says hassle free return with a smile. I wanted to exchange my cameo 3 for another one because after 1 week of light use the blade stopped functioning properly. The worker directed me to a manager. The manager did not give me an exchange and said I need to call the manufacturer. After 10 long minutes of arguing, he couldnt show me the policy where they can not accept open items. I left very unhappy. I never shopped at a store that said I could not return an item when the receipt clearly states they accept all returns. The website has no extra information printed.

Recently I found myself needing sheet material and after reading some negative reviews about this store, decided I needed the material and would just get through it. While at the store, I was assisted with a great amount of help and patience. Amazingly, I found myself needing some material for another project about a month later. Only my second excursion into a fabric store. Second time out service was outstanding. I was lost in this store and received the assistance I wanted. both of my projects turned out great. I would gladly visit this store again.

My fabric shopping experience today was fantastic. I was able to find the exact shades of two colors I need to start a quilt. I had a rather large order to fill from two different bolts and Kay was a HUGE help in reminding me to use the coupons from my phone app. Because of this I was able to save a lot of money. It was so refreshing to see quality customer service with a smile and the knowledge that Kay gives. She is truly an asset to your store. I will definitely go back!!!

I have returned to sewing after 20 years; so, I needed guidance and in measuring, determining fabric and review on steps to finish my project. Luckily, Allison Ray was there to assist me. She was SO VERY PATIENT and so professional and cheerful. I am so thankful for her assistance. She made me feel comfortable in asking questions and the project is finished. store is clean and most of staff is very helpful if you track them down......restockers have no regard for customers trying to shop......cutting table is often very slow and personnel unfriendly talking about store policies negatively in front of customers.....arlington location...cannot comment on others......jh

Love the sales, set up, and how its clean. However, some of the employees have a bad attitude. Everyday I go in, there is one or two employees who have an attitude! And I dont not like that at all! I keep coming back because I love the fabric!

I shop at this location frequently! The cutting table does get busy on the weekends but the staff has always been personal and friendly at the table so its worth any wait! The store is always clean and stocked, its my go to craft store!!
