I am from Austin so I am use to the wonderful customer service there. The Arlington Golfsmith was terrible on Sunday afternoon. I am in town with friends for the week of July 4th so we went to play a round on Sunday morning. I lost my glove on the course and I ran into Golf Smith to get another one plus a sleeve of balls. The lady that checked me out (Melinda, Melanie, Melody?????) was very rude. She did not look or talk to me because she was flirting with some other guy that was standing to the side of the booth. I really do not care what time you get off and that you do not have plans for the night. Stop talking to the other man, service me and let me leave the store. Very sad for Golfsmith to have someone like this working there now.

I have purchased several clubs in the past year and a half at this Golfsmith. The service is awesome!! I have always had a good experience when shopping here. The staff is very helpful but not pushy. I dont look the part of a golfer, in fact I am in my mechanic uniform when I go in there most of the time and I am not looked down on at all. These guys are just wanting to sell the right club or in most cases the club you think you need. Ask for Matt or Joe, they will get you in the right club and fit it to you.

Had a shaft pulled at the repair shop. The repair guys were very helpful and friendly. It took just a few minutes for them to get it done and I was on my way out before I knew it. The store and its layout is awesome! Ill definitely be back to spend more money. The only reason I didnt give five stars is because the line at the front counter moves quite slowly. Their checkout process could use a little tweaking. Besides that, everything else is great, and I will be back.

Service sucks, guy that does re-gripping was rude and condescending when I brought my golf clubs into the store, I was there to look at bags too and compare new ones with what I had. Come back to pick up clubs, another 10min wait in the golf repair line, then was expected to wait in another line at front to get out of store with clubs and that line was another 10min. I already paid for the re-gripping and gave them my ticket and receipt, let me go home!

Maybe I wasnt dresses like a golfer when I visited the store today, but after the initial hello when I walked through the door. I walked around the store for 15 minutes looking at bags, putters and drivers NOT ONE sales associates asked if I needed help. I even walked between two of them having a conversation. I work customer service and every customer should be acknowledged because they/we are the ones who keep the doors open.

I had a technical problem with custom adjusting one of my drivers. I asked ROCKY back in their shop area for advice. Not only did his suggestion work well but helped my score, as I had hoped. Rocky is very knowledgeable, and NOT a newcomer to the game. He explained how the process would solve my problem. I will continue to trade with this store and Rocky can most likely answer any of your golf equipment questions.

Went in to have my putter re gripped. I stood there waiting for someone in that area to help. Had to end up going to the checkout counter. No one really seemed that eager to help, maybe because I didnt look like a golfer. I stopped in after my boxing class. Maybe I stunk who knows, all I know is nobody paid attention to me.

We bought a $500 driver approx 2 months ago, it was used maybe 1 round of golf & a handful at the driving range by an above average golfer so it was still in new condition, no return & trade in value of $182.......very disappointed in the trade in practices here.

I visit golf shops all over Southwest, but have never encountered rudeness and imbecility. That is what one old senile salesman exhibited. Does not belong!
