This place is over priced. It has a good selection of higher end firearms but the owner, Frank isnt willing to budge on price. Not even if you are a regular and willing to pay cash. Pretty much Frank will nickel and dime you the best he can. I recently ordered 3 stripped AR-15 lowers for future builds and he charged me a $30 transfer fee for each one? Thats half of what they cost, and they all go under the same background check/paper work. I asked if he was really charging me for each one and he laughed like I was joking? Ill be sure to go somewhere else. This is the gun shop guy with lots of money go to and talk about how much better .45 acp is vs 9mm and how you "only need one shot with a .45". No joke that was an actual conversation I have heard. Whenever I go in the staff seems to not know much of anything and the most common phrase is "I dont know, let me ask Frank". Great management approach, lets have the salesman know nothing and Ill do everything, that way customers can wait around till Im ready to help them. I would look other places first, I get it that someone having an item in stock is better than waiting, but not for most things, and not at the price he is charging.

Frank was a pleasant person to deal with. I was very impressed with his demeanor and customer service. I read a few reviews that stated they were overpriced. I could not help but notice while in the store the vast majority of high priced firearms were high end guns like a McMillan Tac 50, Republic Forge 1911s, STI 1911/2011s. Sure a McMillan Tac .308 and a Remington 700 .308 look alike to the untrained eye. There is a difference between the rifles. usually seen at 600+ yards in terms of performance. A knock off scope and a Nightforce look similar too; Until your trying to view a target way out in yonder. They also had the usual inventory of Glock/HK/S&W MPS priced accordingly. (excluding some of the accessorized ones I.E:MK23 with a suppressor) I further noticed they did not sell any "Crap" guns. The ones that jam every other couple rounds. This store carries middle to high end equipment and is priced accordingly. I would also add, This is a typical "Mans Gun Store." If you cant handle a gentle ribbing, dont come here. Otherwise leave your small feelings at the door. There is even a sign stating "We are Politically Incorrect." Will be purchasing from again.

Friendly and knowledgable staff, incredible selection, and great service! I went in a few days ago looking for a holster for a gun I had purchased and the staff was immensely helpful. I had no idea that there were quite so many different options for holsters. I ended up purchasing one of their Cobra Gunleather Inside Waistband holsters and its been great. I had been pricing around at Cabelas and other places but honestly Im glad I came here instead. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality product at competitive pricing, and staff that know the product they sell and have experience using. The range and variety of product they sell blows other brick and mortar retailers out of the water and the storefront is always kept clean and professional.

I went in to buy a LWRC and they were $200 higher than other stores Ive been to. When I brought that Frank (owner) attention, he told me to go to another store. I wont be doing any business with them. Basically the owner has no management skills, his workers are nice but arent allowed to make decisions. I had a customer ask me an opinion about a purchase since Frank was to busy to actually explain why he recommended a specific gun. Telling a customer to buy a gun because "thats what everyone else is getting, I cant keep them in stock" is not a reason to purchase a particular gun. The prices are higher than GT Distributors which is where I usually buy my guns. Dont waste your time or money.

This is probably the best gun shop in D/FW! Ive been to quite a few. Ive always been impressed at how great the customer service has been, regardless of the amount of traffic that is in the store. Frank and all of his employees are very thoughtful and thorough in helping customers select the best gun, whether it be for concealed carry, home defense or for hunting. They have everything that you are looking for, but in case they dont, they can usually have it in the store within a few days. The prices are great! So Im not sure what some of these yahoos are talking about? In many cases youll see higher prices because upgraded sights have been added. Sometimes quality matters...go figure?

Frankly, the service is just plaid terrible. The owner was on the phone the entire time I was trying to buy a gun and not able to answer any question. The salesman was shift and asked too many questions just to be selling me a pistol. The glock I purchased from them had a problem with the reset so I took it back the next day and the owner suggested I shoot it first and it will "loosen up". Not true. I talked to a glock armorer and he got my gun sent back to the glock factory and replaced under warranty. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Theu are over priced and not helpful in any way.

Went there a few years back, when I was 19. Attempted to buy a rifle, was told you had to be 21 to purchase and own a rifle. After debating with the clerk, who was carrying a handgun on his hip and couldnt be more than 18 years old, I asked to speak to a manager. Some Chicago accent non-gentleman came out, gave me attitude, and told me the exact same thing. A gun store thats beyond ignorant to gun laws is dangerous. Never got my business again, still wont.

Great shop. The owner, Frank, is a nice guy and so is the rest of the staff. They are helpful, courteous and make sure you are taken care of. Shop setup is great with a good selection available. If its not there, they can get it in a couple of days. Paper work takes about 10 min and youre good to go. They also offer LTC classes every other Saturday. The hours of operation are accommodating, especially if you have a 9-5 job. Check them out when in the area.

I came into the store today looking for some parts. I was never spoken to or acknowledged. I walked the entire store and even tried leaning in on some of the conversations going on and nothing. Seemed like they had a good variety and selection which is the only reason Im giving 2 stars. Good selection of firearms and ammo. Customer service left much to be desired. Oh well..... Academy is right down the highway.

Ive been in there a few times now (3-4) and never received any service really. The most recent trip was early afternoon on a weekday, so not really peak hours or anything. The one time I was able to get some assistance it was rather dismissive. I asked for a price on an SBR they had in stock, and the reply I got was "you have to have a tax stamp for that"

These people are great! They are all too willing to help and unlike many other shops, they do not speak down to you. They want to help. The owner, Frank, is one of the greatest people you will want to meet and what a sense of humor! I could listen to him all day. If you want serious gear, K-5 Arms Exchange is the only name you need to know.
