Yesterday I went to look for a gift for a friend who leaves soon for New york. When the store manager says all bags need to be checked except purses. Then he switched it around and said back pack... Purses are a bag but he did not care he would not let me talk and interrupted me. He says people have been taken their items and accused me for it apparently and other customers. Im literally in shocked by this I made many purchases before in this store and to be embarrassed in front of the whole store is wrong. Arent they supposed to have cameras and he said it dose not matter. Also where was the alarm system it did not go off. I will report this and it will get taken cared of I happen to like this store and have been coming here for years for many purchases that I bought with my credit card. Its the unexperienced employees who clam to know what they are doing changed this store. So I guess all the Hobby lobby stores run like this and I will check with the corporate office to let them know. I have been to other Hobby lobbys and they are nothing like this one......

I usually have a great experience at Hobby Lobby, but I dont usually shop at this one. The ladies at the cash register were nice, but this one younger girl working on stocking the shelves was downright rude. She was younger, it was about 7:30 pm and we asked her if they had anymore wooden letters since they were out of several letters. She quickly said, "what we have is on the shelf" and without even saying anything else, she just walked off. She acted like she hated people or something. We quickly left, I dont care to shop at a place where its obvious workers dont like to work. We went to JoAnns in McKinney and asked them the same thing because they were out of a few letters we needed, and they quickly offered to put in a special order for us and went through all the trouble of writing down numbers and entering into the register the two little baby wall letters we needed. We felt like such a burden to the worker at Hobby Lobby but will be using JoAnns from now on since they actually acted like they wanted us to be there.

I usually enjoy my experience at Hobby Lobby but Im about to review on a bad experience I had. I asked for help in the fabric department on ribbon and she not only made me feel like I was interrupting her, but she also made me feel stupid. I was asking for ribbon I had found last week in that department and she said I didnt get it there, She insisted I got it in the floral department which doesnt sound horrible but her tone was condenscending and almost made me leave the store in anger. Fortunately for Hobby Lobby, I really needed the ribbon and I traversed my way through the store, alone, trying to find what I needed. I found it but feel poorly enough about my experience, I just had to write this review.

I am not one to go online and write a review, but that is how much I HATE this Hobby Lobby. It is the only one in my town, so unfortunately I cant pick a different location or I would. The old ladies that work here have ALWAYS been rude every time I go in. They act like they hate life and hate being there. The lines are always ridiculously long, no matter what time of day. The "head cashier" never offers to take on a register, she stands at the front and "observes" but never jumps in to help. I HATE , HATE, HATE going in this location.

I have read the other feedback posts, and I can understand why they had bad experiences with sales clerks on the floor at this particular location... because I was waited on by the STORE MANAGER yesterday, and he was rude, impatient, and clearly uninformed about his stores stock. With an attitude like this man had, I am pretty sure he treats his employees even worse than he treated me, so no wonder they are rude... they must be miserable working there. I will drive into Dallas to find a better Hobby Lobby location in the future.

Total waste of my time - a labyrinth of misc Everything was scattered around the store - no coherent sections or markings of what was on aisles. Ridiculous - zero layout design. Wasted a ton of time and finally left empty handed. I didnt have time to browse every maze aisle to find what I came for. No employees to be seen on the floor that I could ask for help either and registers super busy with few workers. Looks like its only Michaels from here on out for us.

I shop at Hobby Lobby quite often. I would have to say that I get better service there than any other store that I shop in and I shop a lot. I just called for a pre lit 6 ft. garland and the lady on the phone was super nice and is holding the garland for me and I will pick it up this afternoon. I love Hobby Lobby and cant imagine anyone giving a bad review. Every sales person is very helpful and they have a lot of knowledge and have never been rude!!!! JoAn Witt

Probably the most disorienting store Ive ever been inside of. Couldnt find anything because of how many little things there are on all of the shelves. Tracked down an employee to ask where something was and she tells me, "a few aisles down in the arts and crafts section...." really?? The whole store is arts and crafts. There are things they sell that no one else does, but the vast majority of their inventory is available from other retailers at a lower price.

I have had nothing except wonderful experiences in this store, every single time that Ive shopped there. The staff has always been readily available to help point me in the right direction, to answer questions, and to show me where things may be. The experiences have been amazing and the management team is hardworking and very good at what they do.

Hobby lobby is a great company. Remember, the employees are people too. Ive always had a pleasant experience shopping there. You need to remember that you should be nice and respectful and youll get it back in return. Oh and FYI, you are supposed to READ the sale signs and the ad. They are for certain items, NOT everything on that isle.

I was looking for a solution for framing an odd size print in a creative option and they helped me and even saved me money on the frames. They let me get a rain check on the half off price because they only had 2 frames and I needed 3. Very helpful and knowledge able, can think outside the box. Recommend highly.

Such bad service Ill never go back. Sale signs that arent honored at the register, rude employees, and supervisors who talk down to the customers. Clearly from the top down there is no appreciation for the shopper. An absolute retail disgrace. Even if I could save money there is no amount worth the hassle.

Boycotting this store because their customer service is horrible. Went there looking for a Christmas tree, they were were thin and were overpriced even at 50 percent off, $250 for a 7ft with lights. I can get a 6.5 ft with lights and fuller at target for 100.
