I used this Ace Hardware as an FFL for a gun purchase. I contacted the location ahead of time and let them know the gun would be coming. When I was notified by the retailer that the gun was received by the FFL, I went to pick it up. For some reason this FFL opened the boxes that the rifle was sealed in prior to my arrival and the rear sight was missing. I contacted the supplier and they sent a new sight. I discussed this with the supplier and they assured me that every weapon is inspected twice before being boxed up and sealed - a box inside another box. I am not casting blame on anyone, but I am curious why Ace Hardware would open a rifle box before the customer arrives to pick it up?

In my opinion, this Ace Hardware doesnt uphold the reputation of most Ace locations. While the store is decently stocked, it is usually missing a lot of common items that you can find in other big-box stores. When I lived in Morgan county, this was the closest hardware store to drive to during a project. Unfortunately, I often went right past it because they didnt have what I would need most of the time.

Its nice to walk into any store and be greeted with a smile or how can I help you. Even when they are busy someone makes it a point to let you know theyll be a sec. If they dont have it they will make sure they order right the first time. Good folks, good prices/stock and good service. Cant beat them I imo.

I have been using this Ace Hardware for several months and I have been impressed with their pricing, service and delivery. When I call, I get prompt service and all the items I need are on the job site when they say it will be there. I highly recommend these guys.

This place sux I call 7 times for a lawnmower spark plug and was put on hold 7 times for over 15 mins each time,sounded like a young lady working or what she thinks is working,I lost time and money! Neither I can get back. Thanks losers.

Been dealing with Ace in Oliver spring for a long time. They usually have stuff that home dep and lowes dont have - so, we definitly use them all the time. Great service and it helps when you know them.
