If I could give this store a zero on management skills, I would and my score is based solely from manager LISA who would win as the worst manager in town. I have never experienced such poor service from a manager. I have never written a review but with the treatment I continued to receive I thought I should to prevent others from experiencing the same thing. Go somewhere else where you will feel respected and valued. If you notice before my review, they received a score of 2 stars. I wish I wouldve taken heed when I saw it at first. When I first came in she held a conceited attitude and I thought it was a bad day. She continued to give me the wrong information. It wasnt until a black lady came, who was wearing gray contacts, and serviced me that I felt welcomed in the store. Lisa didnt know about her on promotion, she didnt know about my insurance and throughout my visit gave me information without viewing my insurance. The black girl would hear he talk to me and come and correct her consistently. My friend came in later and noticed the same behavior from her. Later , I called and asked for a refund for the contacts that i havent gotten a call back for, I ordered a year supply thinking I would use them, but I dont use the contacts I have for the first month and prefer glasses. She told me, on the phone, (without asking for my name or insurance information) that the refund would go to my insurance. I called my insurance and that was another thing Lisa didnt know. I do get a refund back. In addition to that she told me that I would have to return my glasses since it is part of the promotion. I would think that someone in a managerial position would want to keep customers and not drive them away. STAY AWAY from this store there are other places in town that would make you feel welcomed, informed and valued.

Been going here for a couple years since my insurance changed and no longer accepted my old doctor. The wait is a little long usually, but I just take the time to pick out frames before they call you back. The eye doc I see is pretty friendly, able to answer any questions I have and took the time to explain my results even though they were very busy both times I was in. Last year I did the buy one get one deal. I paid a little more for the glare resistant lenses which has helped me because I stare at a computer for 10 hours a day at work. Im about to go back and get a couple more pairs soon. Last year I was able to get a regular pair and a pair of prescription lenses for 250. They have both held up very well. No scratches or pitting on the lenses with rough use/carry. Some people may have bad experiences but its definitely not been in my case. The main complaint is it takes a while to get back, but other than that, everything is pretty good.

The good: New glasses. Two pair. With insurance about $131. The bad: Disorganized. I asked to walk out the door with the least expensive set of glasses possible. My first quote was $394, then $274. I left with them telling Me it would be around $119. The ugly: had 2:45 pm appointment. Was seen at 4:15 pm. Rushed through. The Dr. Mumbled the whole time and told me Im a good candidate for lasik. He apologized for the staff booking so many people on a Saturday and for rushing. Luckily, I picked out frames while I was waiting. Got the first pair after calling and asking if they were in a day later. Just called today to Track my primary pair promised 10 days from the appointment. Theyre in!!! They couldnt tell me when they arrived but, did have my correct phone number. Still waiting to hear from them...

Very displeased with this place!!! We have been in 4 times to get my sons glasses corrected. Each time we wait forever!! They keep saying each time it was a typo error. If it is their fault, we should be taken care of quickly. As we speak, we have been sitting for 2.5 hours waiting. After speaking with the front desk, they couldnt locate his file. Was told 45 minutes ago the manager would be right with us. Second trip to front desk, couldnt find the manager. I have already paid for these glasses, or Id be long gone. Terrible service!

The doctor I am not sure which one made me feel like a idiot for bringing my 3 year old in there when I called before hand and they said absolutely they would see her, he said very rudely that no child under the age of 5 needs glasses unless they are cross eyed and they would have none that at birth, and made me feel so dumb that I havent took her to her pediatrician because she is falling a lot horrible service I had the receptionist following me to the car telling me she was so sorry the doctor was so rude

After reading the reviews on google I was quite skeptical that the appointment would go well, yet the $1 eye exam still motivated me to go. I am very glad that I did. From the moment I entered the store I was greeted kindly and promptly. Dr. Price was very informative and thorough during the exam. When I explained I would not be purchasing my glasses just yet the employees were still very nice and offered any assistance that I may need. I appreciate the ease I felt the entire visit.

RUN... Dont walk from this place. It is probably the WORST vision place in Murfreesboro. The staff doesnt care at all about the customers. They do their exams in an assembly line fashion. Its one after the other and you have to basically beg to see the optometrist about any questions you might have. Visionworks needs to look at these awful reviews and do something about it. This is embarrassing to Visionworks... RUN! Walmart offers better service... So does Target optical...

If you value your vision do not go here, the service was terrible and the receptionist (Karen) was the rudest person I have ever been in contact with my whole life. They will sell you items but when there is an issue they try to push you out the door, DO NOT GO THERE save your money and find a real optometrist with a staff that cares and treats you like you should be, money hungry place.

Horrible customer service. Our insurance covers a scratch resistant coating but not anti-glare, but they only bundle these two options and will not separate. They actually told us they would add extra glare to the lenses if we did not pony up the extra cash for both. Rude, arrogant. Luckily our insurance changed this year and we can go somewhere else!

We were very lucky to find a good associate. They told us the glasses would arrive in 8-10 days. 2 weeks later, I called and was informed that they do not call people when their glasses arrive any more. Thats just rude. Also, we did the BOGO and it was definitely overpriced from the beginning.

I needed to purchase new glasses to replace a lost pair. Jason, the manager, was helpful, courteous, and professional. He made sure the replacement glasses were high quality, arrived as promised, and also gave us a great price. Five star customer service from Jason and friendly associates.
