2.5 stars now that I have lived here some time I feel I can give the pros and cons. #1 it is cleaner than many Wal Marts. But the prices are higher than in surrounding counties because it is one of the few shopping options in the city. Customer Service agents are great. Not the CSMs but the blue vest clerks. Honestly, the friendliest employees there. There are three there regularly and all are very nice women. The line in customer service is generally long but that is no reflection on the clerks. They need to schedule more help and the managers...ugh. I get my check cashed every week and regularly see clerks trying to catch a manager that is brushing them off. Its ridiculous. I have been to a lot of Walmarts having moved from Murfreesboro (land of 5 walmarts) and my job requiring me to travel. This is the only one where the cust. Service managers are regularly acting like supervisors and watching and not working. The pharmacy is good once you are in the system. When I first moved they refused to fill my sons prescription claiming their right to refuse service. I asked for a manager and was questioned as to why I was filling so far from home (I moved from Murfreesboro) and why I had not updated my license (planned to it jist was our first week here). Finally got the meds after providing my lease. I have no clue as to why I was targeted. But that is a theme here. I was regularly stopped and had my bags and receipt checked. At one point, during Christmas, a customer left with a tv unchecked and a $300 Barbie dreamhouse...unchecked because the greeter was counting my kool aid packets and checking that they were all accounted for on the receipt. I wish I were kidding. Another time a CSM followed my son and I on the toilet paper aisle. She hung around and when I asked for help reaching a high shelf I was told she had to stay on that aosle. When I lifted my son...I was chastised. I understand safety but I asked. We were admonished for attempting to "build a fort". Now, I admittedly look younger. I regularly get confused for a student at the school I work at. Nonetheless, I am a 34 year old, mom of three, who could lose a few...then a few more. What would I look like climbing my old, big up on a shelf to build a fort?! But certain customers are met with an unnecessary amount of suspicion by a small group of employees. I have no clue why I do not look like a suspicious character...I dress nice, behave nicely, and you knoww, bathe but thats how it is here

The Pharmacy Dept. is horrible.i visted there 01/11/2014 at approimently beteewn 9:00am thur 9:30 am. they treated me like I am a drug addict. all because I asked for Advil cold an sinus that contains pseudephedrine. says on the sign NO prescription necessary. An they tell you that we cant sell that to you unless you have a prescription here. The Law States that you must show ID. then they run you in an it will ether come back as green or red meaning you can buy or not buy. The Pharmacy Didnt even do that just refused to sell anything to me. an treated me completely like S***. even told her what the sign says I dont care. I am not sell you Anything go to a Another Pharmacy so I did just that an Walgreens was more then helpful to me. some people that other product work on doesnt work for everyone so Stop treating People as if there a Drug Addict. An I will Never in My Life have any of my medication if i need them,Will Not Have them Filled at Walmart Pharmacy again....I dont care if the Manager calls me or not. All I can Say is I hope an Pray somebody would treat him/her in the same way there employee treated me.....I never In my Life been treated this badly from any store except this one now.....

Walmart can have their moments like any other store. Most of the time they are helpful and try to help you in any way they can. In my opinion, its not the store that has the problem. The people they hire can be the problem, but they are all human just like anyone else. Some people are just going to be rude and mean, but that is life. So far I have had good and bad experiences with Walmart, but most of them good. Here is an example.. I checked out and when I got home, I had left my bag up there. All I had to do was call and the people were very friendly. They kept my bag for me til I got back up there. It doesnt matter where you go in life, not everything is going to go smooth and the way you want it. Take all this in consideration and maybe next time you will think about it in another perspective.

Customer service makes up "laws." Things Ive heard in the customer service line at this store: "No one under 16 can return an item, its against the law." Customer ahead of me in line... $4 Broom. "No one can return food without a register receipt because it may have been purchased with food stamps." A 40 year old couple wanting to exchange an UNOPEN package that contained something the husband was allergic to. "No one can return a Blu-Ray movie that has been opened. The law says you may have copied it." ...ME... one disc was cracked inside the box set. They didnt have more of the same. They said they would give the money back this ONE time. None of the above are laws.

A pretty nice looking Wal-Mart but once you step into the the store and get what you want to buy and go to the check out, that all changes, You will realize that even having as many checkouts as they do, Nobody is ever at them working so everyone has to bunch up at one maybe two or the self serve ones, And dont ask an employee about an item in my experience with that if they dont just say I have no clue, or tell you they will have to get someone else to assist you who never shows up, they are rude when talking to you.

I would give the store 0 if I could or even negative Stars. First of all, there were 2 regular lanes open and 2, 20 items or less. I understand you guys want point of view sales, but you cant have point-of-view sales when your people are standing in the middle of the main aisle way. This is a disgrace to any type of customer service. A gentleman in line behind us actually asked for help while we watched several store associates walking around. After waiting five more minutes and no other lane being opened, we wheeled our cart to customer service and left.

Pharmacy is horrible; rude staff - even the pharmacist-on-duty, non-helpful, judgemental, treat customers, with scheduled prescriptions, as criminals! The store manager said he would take care of that Monday, Oct. 10, and return our call. Well see; hope so. Actually, Michael Hacker, I think it is the stores fault for staff showing rotten attitudes at work; they should be corrected and/or fired, if not improved. Were customers, and its not our fault, either.
