I must clarify upfront. This is not a review of their food or beverages. My wife and her close friend, both of whom are 30+ weeks pregnant and have other children and rarely get time with just each other, decided to make the trip downtown to spend the afternoon together over a cup of coffee. They researched the The Crepe Factory and found that their posted hour of closing was 2pm. Finding a parking spot was difficult enough only to have walk a considerable distance uphill which isnt the stores fault but provides a challenge when you are 30+ weeks pregnant along with multiple musculoskeletal issues. Thus this added to the amount of time it took just to get to the store. Upon arrival to the store there are multiple signs of different significance in the store windows. One picture below is the example. (Side note: it is frustrating when businesses have multiple signs and posters on their store front which means you have to hunt for any of relevance to the store itself). Having no known reason to stand out in the heat in an effort to read all the signs they proceeded into the store. Just inside the door they were immediately barked by someone who was either one of the owners or an employee stating "we are closed". They both looked at their phones and both read 1:43 pm. We all know that how you handle people is not as much what you as it is in the WAY you say something. When two obviously very pregnant women at that point just asked if it was ok to use the restroom the worker acted like it was a big favor to let them use the restroom. They were too shocked at how they were treated to respectfully address it while standing there so I decided to give a phone call to a manager or owner and let them know what had happened. When I spoke with one of the owners and relayed our frustration she initially decided to defend the rudeness at first stating "well, its clearly marked on the door", only to reluctantly say later in the conversation that she wouldnt want people to have this impression of her business.

This is an absolute MUST! Forget what you know about other crepe restaraunts. This locally owned business, with a hands on approach to service, has nailed it! These two ladies will amaze you. They serve Breakfast, Savory, and Sweet Crepes with sides, with espresso and wine available. I had ham and brie with apples and roasted brussel sprout hash browns, the Mrs. had the Turkey with bacon crepe. Absolutely unbelievably scrumptious. A Symphony of flavors. We shared both and it was perfectly wonderful. The coup de ta was the banana crepe with chocolate! Just one word, WOW. Quaint French cafe styling and ambiance, combined with a touch of industrial decor. Outdoor, indoor and party room seating. Great for private functions. Their location in Morgan Square, downtown Spartanburg can give you a total sense of being elsewhere without leaving town!

The food was good. I was disappointed that the crepe I ordered said that it had spinach in it but I had no spinach. The farmers roasted vegetable pilaf was good. The others who eat with me had issues with their food as well. One had gotten the side ceasar salad and there was a huge amount of sun dried tomatoes on it and the other ordered a crepe that didnt say it had blueberries on it but it came on it and she doesnt like blueberries. Also there were a lot of extras on the plates that didnt make sense and were a waste and not needed. They would save a lot of time and money if they left them off. The ladies up front were very nice and friendly but didnt know what the dressing choices were if you didnt want the basil mint vinaigrette. I also was disappointed that the crepes werent folded right.

Really nice environment and atmosphere inside this quaint little french themed crepe shop. The prices are moderate to high, but the quality really shines through and the plates are filling. One critique I may be able to offer is that my dish came with some items that werent listed on the menu, so if you have a picky eater with you who might turn their nose up at roasted brussel sprouts or watermelon wedge, you may want to know beforehand that those come with the St. John St. breakfast crepe. Otherwise, a unique and fantastic experience for our small downtown area in Spartanburg!

I always order something Id like, but this time was not a good time...I ordered the Dunbar St crepe thinking itd be delicious, but was disappointed to only have enjoyed the watermelon, a few blueberries, the potatoes, and in the crepe only the crepe itself and the sauce inside, nothing else like the peppers looked too good to consume...I did enjoy my white chocolate latte better than the one coffee I had last time! Just wish I got something else to eat :( $15 down the drain...maybe Ill stick to the sweet crepes next time....

Great breakfast and brunch place. They are not typically open on Sunday but were open for Mothers Day. It got quite busy so either make reservations or get there early next year. Crepes are unique and flavorful. The grits are super creamy. They typically have an amazing dessert if you are inclined. Mothers Day it was a Boston Cream crepe layer cake. Out of this world!

Lovely staff and quaint decor makes this place a treasure. The food was extremely delicious with a mixture of classic and innovative crepes on the menu. I had the eggplant crepe it was amazing! The creamy grits were a perfect compliment. Do try the special drink. My lavender lemonade was delicate with balance. Bravo crepe factory!

Nice, new restaurant downtown. The cashier friendly, food came very fast. It was fresh and flavorful. The grits as a side quite good. My only issue was for the price the portion size was quite small. My wife had been before and acknowledged the change . $15 for a crepe lunch is too much for frequent dining.

Had such a great time here! First time eating crêpes and I can definitely say I cant wait to go back. Delicious food with bounds of flavor, colors and nutrients in each meal. Wonderful service and a very nice environment all around. Looking forward to getting another St. John plate for sure!

I ran into this place right when it opened, when I just got back from living in France. The crepes here brought me back to my Parisian life style. Friendly staff, fantastic coffee, and good food. Bring a good book and relax at this great hot spot.

Great food! The staff is super friendly and so kind. A little more expensive than I would want to pay for a crepe, but definitely the best in town. I love the atmosphere, especially if you get seat by the window.
