I enjoyed this coffee shop, and not just for its coffee. Bald Guy Brew was easy to find, and located atop a charming little store; and, yes, the fresh, pour-over coffee I had was great, as was the friendly and knowledgeable service. However, the cherry on this shops sundae was, oddly, its bathroom, which was a little, slope-ceilinged hole-in-the-wall with all manner of coffee-centric decoration set under a scintillating blue neon light -- nothing less than a work of art, itself. Thanks for the great shop, guys! My visit there was the perfect start to a roadtrip.

...stopped by to browse Footsloggers and the staff invited us to try BGB upstairs....great recommendation....the mocha was excellent ( not too heavy on the chocolate, good espresso mix, very flavorful) as was the hot chocolate. Just a enjoyable was the conversation...Jason is passionate about coffee and his profession as a barista....we learned a lot of coffee.....dont miss....

I love this place. I had heard about it as one of the highlights of Blowing Rock. It is. They have the best coffee, the best atmosphere, (Ive met some of the coolest people there, introduced by Jason or Billy the Baristas) and they sell the BEST gluten free cookie mix ever. I also love the train set and so does my son. :)

This little local coffee shop in the loft above a outdoors supply store is so cute! The coffee was delicious, the staff was funny & the vibe entices you to want to sit & read for a bit. The campfire mocha I had here & the lavender vanilla latte were both great. I cant wait to visit here again next time Im in Blowing Rock

Great coffee, its a bit hidden above a camping/outdoors store but a perfect hidden spot for a great coffee thats made with care and roasted on the ground floor of the same building. The next time Im in Blowing Rock Ill be back for more and i highly recommend grabbing some if youre a coffee lover.

Service is super friendly and the coffee is really good. However, when the baristas are talking about the drugs they like to take for fun and how much they can sell certain pills for, that isnt exactly good for business. ESPECIALLY when customers come in with their families.

A top-notch roaster in Blowing Rock, NC. Even West-Coast coffee snobs (moi?) will recognize the artful touch of Jason Campbell, owner and master roaster. If you find yourself traveling the Blue Ridge, be sure to check out Camp Coffee on Main Street in Blowing Rock.

The coffee isnt really anything noteworthy, but its reasonably priced and worth the trip to the cozy second floor shop for a break between hikes. The staff was really friendly, and it beats a Starbucks in every way. Be sure to check out the cool artwork!

The coffee here is easily the best in town, and one of the best cups of coffee Ive ever had anywhere. Very smooth, never bitter at all. Very friendly staff, funky decor, all in all a great place. We always make sure to stop by when we are in Blowing Rock

If you want a hand-crafted, locally roasted cup of joe, CAMP is your place in Blowing Rock. Great coffee, personal service and an upbeat atmosphere make this a destination coffeeshop that is the heart of what the NC High Country stands for.

This guy is awesome! What a wonderful first experience in blowing rock! I love the local joints that serve the best most unique things. Starbucks needs to learn from this guy. And he was very friendly to first time tourists to the area :)

Great coffee in the upstairs café. Roasting the coffee downstairs means fantastic aroma all around the building. Free WiFi and interesting prints around the walls. Plenty of table space to use if you want to meet or just use the WiFi.

The coffee is great! I would give them 5 stars if they did not close at 6 on Friday and Saturday. As a parent of young children, I just might need a coffee about that time. They are not afraid to close 15-30 minutes early either.

Best Ive had in years! Prices are competitive, atmosphere is well thought-out, and the 2 different baristas I have encountered so far are extremely knowledgeable. They even bake their own sweets and breakfast pastries on site!

I love this place. Coffee is great and staff is excellent. Lots of options and seasonal drinks. My favorite is the dirty chai latte and the white lavender mocha, but everything is good! A must stop if in the Blowing Rock area.

Best coffee around. Staff in well informed of the trade and very helpful in finding the best outdoors gems in the area. They also helped us find all the best food in the area as well. Now a regular. Stop when in the area.

The latte I ordered the other day while camping in the mountains tasted delicious and the coffee did not taste burnt or even too light. Just right. It can be hard to find a coffee shop that has that balance to their coffee.

Great place! The coffee and service was fantastic! You can talk roasts, beans and methods or you can just get a cup of Joe. The best cup of coffee in the Boone|Blowing Rock area. We went everyday we were in Blowing Rock.

The coffee is freshly roasted and prepared. The baristas are fantastically witty and bright. And the owners are some of the most amazing people around. 1000/10 would recommend (and you can order coffee online!)

i got a latte and a hot chocolate. The latte was awesome, but the hot chocolate was the best I have ever had! It takes a little longer to get your drinks but that is because they are making it the right way.

Awesome! The best peppermint mocha I have ever had. I work close by and they are always so accommodating and pleasant. We are fortunate to have such a great coffee shop in our village.

Chill atmosphere for a wonderful cup or pastry with super helpful staff. A few tables set up in the main spot, a quiet nook with a living room feel, and seating out front.

Really cool place to hang out and get a hot drink. It is a little bit hard to find as it is nestled in the upstairs of a building and it doesnt have that much seating room.

Friendly barista, good coffee. Sits above Footsloggers inside the store. There are a few seats for kicking your feet up while watching traffic below. Try the Chewy Balls!

Excellent dark roast, black of course. The guys were roasting a new batch on the first floor the morning I skated in. A light smoke and aroma filled the place. Perfect.

The best place in the 17 states that I have been to Jason really knows what he is doing. Love it. Wish they would branch out to Catawba area.
