The South HAS NOT overcome its prejudice ways. This location is living proof. No matter how much money you possess; no matter how well dressed you are; no matter how well spoken you are; the only thing these people see when you walk in the door is what COLOR you are. If you are of color,more specifically African American; they are slow to ask if you need help or if you would like to see anything in their counter or even greet you with a simple "Hello, Welcome to Galloway & Moseley". They just gather behind the back counter and look at you. Its a pitiful shame because in this life you never know who will be there to hand you your last drink of water. Unfortunately for them, I pray the hands are white, otherwise they will just die thirsty. It would make things so much easier if they would just hang a sign on the door that says, "No Blacks Allowed". It may not be "politically correct" but I certainly would have been less offended knowing how they felt upfront rather than to have been treated so rudely! I FEEL SO SORRY FOR THEM!!!!!!
