I took a necklace there to be restrung...two months later I stopped in to ask if it was ready. It wasnt ready and they had no idea where it was!! The guy promised to call me the next day and let me know where my necklace was and when it would be ready. Of course he didnt call!! When they finally found and fixed my necklace (after 3 months!!) the guy told me I was "lucky" it wasnt "lost in the big abyss" - now thats one hell of a business motto!! He never had the common courtesy to apologize for the hideous service. I agree with the person who posted that it is important to support independent stores, but I will NEVER go there again!

lol I just gave a bad review to another place thinking it was this one. But after reading these quotes I see this was the place. Worst jeweler Ive ever been to. Same story. Brought a watch in for a new battery and a new crystal. I knew it wouldnt be quick because the watch is older so I paid my deposit and guy said it would be about three months. Six months later and I hadnt heard from anyone. Call them up and no one knows where my watch is. I call for days talking to different people at the shop. Finally they find it. Three weeks later battery stops working again. So they probably took a used one and put it in my watch.

I brought my watch in to be repaired. Several days later someone called to give me a quote. I gave them my credit card and they said the watch would be repaired in a few days. Two weeks later, after having gotten no call and my card having been charged, my wife went in to see if the repair was finished and they said it wasnt done. Over the course of the next 4 weeks, I called as many times and the person on the phone said they would have "the guy who works on those watches" call me. No one called. Finally, today, I took off work early (their hours are horrible) and they finally had the watch finished. Stay away.

Brought some gold and silver in to sell, lowballed me on gold and offer me 12.50 for 2 ounces of silver when the price was at 28 dollars per ounce. I asked him if I could get more for store credit because I was looking at a ring he had and he said "what is this store credit you talk about?" Im willing to sell him my gold and silver so he can make a couple bucks but this was highway robbery. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

I just took two of my watches in for battery replacement; the woman who was working in the store at the time replaced both of them as I waited--perhaps a total of 5 minutes. She was friendly, extremely efficient, and the price was hard to beat: under $15 for both of them. (I cant remember the exact figure; it might have been $6/ a watch.) Im very happy with their service.

absolutely the worst place to go. Totally untrustworthy stay away. I brought my watch in and he was supposed to call within the week with the quote. Two weeks passed and I did not hear from them. I had to walk into the shop to be told hes really busy and doesnt even know which watch is mine. He never fixed it. Stay stay stay away.

Asked for a watch repair, while it was fast, the price seemed way more expensive than Im used to. I told him what I needed, and he kind of made me feel like I was being a nuisance. Either way, it cost me $10 for a battery and resealing the watch. I wont go here again, theres other Jewelry stores I can try near this location.

Brought in a brand new Citizens Watch to have a new battery installed. I was told that besides the new battery it needed a new $40.00 gasket because "previous work" on the watch had damaged it. This would have come as news to the folks at the Citizen factory, Im sure. Why go to a place you expect is shaking you down?

After 3 months of this shop holding my antique Elgin pocketwatch, I paid $85 to have it returned more broken than when I brought it in. I feel like they held my heirloom hostage... and now when I look at this watch I dont think of my father, I think how ticked I am that it wont even wind anymore.

Prices are overly inflated. Took a watch in to get it sized and didnt ask about the price, as Ive never been charged more than $7. $16 to take a link out. Will never go here again.

Wanted a battery change for my favorite watch after the last one died. The guy wasnt busy, so he changed the battery in under five minutes, and charged me $8 for it. Pretty neat.

Its been 3 years since I gave them my watch to fix with a downpayment. Ignores phone calls for days and only answers after persistence.

Great for watch batteries. 5 minutes, cheap, and returned within the correct time and date. I will be returning.
