I will start by saying I like Target and will continue to shop there however I do not agree with their policies. I went to the Garners Ferry store on 6/13/2012 to purchase wicker patio furniture. They had a love seat and 1 chair marked down to $274 and $184 respectively. I needed 2 chairs so the associate used his hand held and showed 2 in stock at the Harbison store. We even called and they said indeed they had 2. I purchased the love seat for $274 and drove straight to Harbison for 2 chairs. They only had 1 and could not locate the 2nd showing in the system. So I decided to purchase their 1 chair and go back to Garners Ferry and purchase their 1 chair. When I looked at the prices, the Harbison store had their love seat and chair marked down to $188 and $124 respectively. When I expressed concern that 30 minutes earlier I bought the love seat on Garners Ferry for $274 vs. their $188 they credited me the difference. I left and drove back to Garners Ferry to buy the last chair they had and asked if they would match the price on Harbison for the same chair. The associate did not have authority and asked for a supervisor who told me they would not because it was technically a clearance item. I nicely asked for the manager on duty to which she did seek. It took about 10 minutes and it was obvious that when the manager arrived she was informed by the supervisor as to the situation and made her mind up before I could even speak. I was told each store can price identical items at their choosing and should not have received a credit on the love seat by the other store. I kept my cool and summed up the situation to her which was 2 Target stores in the same city maybe 15 miles apart each had 1 identical chair priced $50 differently how would she feel if she were in my shoes purchasing from a major chain who prides itself on satisfaction to which she replied call the 800 number and left me. I bought the chair as I needed it and paid $50 more than I would have if the Harbison store had the 2 they showed in stock. I guess I just want to express disappointment in the Garners Ferry Target and give kudos to the Harbison Target and their management staff who does want to satisfy the little guy and make a reasonable decision.

I have experienced bad customer service on more than one occasion at this Target and several others in the area. It is so disappointing because I used to love Target. Their clearance section in clothes has very little selection, but there may not be a lot that can be done about that. I have interviewed at Target several times and I feel like the management was disengaged and unfriendly. I believe their LGBT friendly claim is simply a media tagline. My sister purchased a display copy of a video game because it was the last one in the case but the staff refused to open the game case to show her the disc. So when my sister walked out into the parking lot she found a blank fake disc in the game case. When we took it back into the store and explained what happened two different managers refused to believe that it was the stores fault. They even called security. We are very nice people and have worked in food service and retail. There is absolutely no reason to treat people like that. Every time I go in the store now I notice how depressed the employees look and how generally unhappy people are. This is not a corporation I choose to spend my money at anymore. If they do not care about me as a customer I can find somewhere else to shop.

I ordered pictures to be printed at this location. When I arrived I was told I had to print the pictures on my own and no one was available to help. It took me 5 minutes to find someone to come assist because their machine was showing an error message. Once that was resolved the machine was unable to find my order number. The lady who was assisting me indicated that she recognized the picture on my confirmation email and those pictures had been printed the day before by another guest. So they should be waiting at guest services. When I went to check at guest services, they had apparently been thrown away. After about 15 more minutes on the phone with Kodak, we were able to get them reprinted.

I went during 4th of July weekend 2017. They were extremely busy with sales. The woman working the dressing room was having a hard time keeping up but she kept her cool. My friend and I had pedicure appointments in the same plaza and we werent done shopping, customer service was great about holding the items we already had in our cart. When checking out the lines were a bit long but the cashiers were friendly and fast. Between Targets regular sales and their cartwheel app I was able to get a lot of things with a small budget. Their apparel section is one of my favorites.

Even though this Target is a little less well kept than most, I still enjoy shopping there. EXCEPT for produce; I just bought some baby carrots packaged in a bag and when I got home and opened them they had ALREADY gone slimy. Their produce section is pretty terrible, but thats normal for Columbia, SC. Ive heard you have to go to a fancy grocery like Whole Foods or Rosewood Market or a farmers market to get good produce.

Buen lugar para realizar compras en gran variedad de artículos, excelente atención y un trato amable y cordial, importante saber inglés debido a que no cuentan con personal bilingüe

Ive lived in many states, and this is the worst Target Ive ever been too. Its always a mess. Something will be out of place and when you go back a month later its still there. The baby/toddler clothes are a disaster to dig through. Very few employees are nice. In fact, several are downright rude!! Food is often expired, both on the shelves and in the dairy.

Excellent customer service in a very clean store. The company embraces individuality and allows their employees to be themselves at work without a stifling dress code which I feel contributes to the great shopping experience. I happily pay a little more than I would at Wal-Mart for a significantly more positive visit.

This target is always busy, being so close to USCs campus. The shelves are always stocked. The store is always clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my favorite Target to shop in.

This target is much bigger than the one on two notch. They have more ppl working so there is always a free lane and their setup is better. The staff were all very nice and accomadating

I prefer this location better because they often changes up product variety. They also have a better selection of hair products compared to the one in Harbison & Sandhills.

Reasonable parking and close to a lot of different types of places. Within walking distance of other shopping outlets, panara bread and other foodie worthy places.
