This is the closest Walmart to my domicile, hence the natural first choice for staples. A Walmart is only as good as the manager. The manager of the neighborhood store on Cherry Road (Rock Hill, SC) has to be terrible at his/her job. The people who work there typically look very bored. Do not believe whats engraved on their uniform : "I am here to help". They dont mean it. I had several bad experiences there. On several occasion, at 9 AM, no lane besides the self check-out was open. I just plain refuse to self check out. If we indulge the store to do so, whats going to happen next ? Will we have to unload the truck too ? Yesterday, my cart was full with groceries (mostly frozen stuff). It was only one person ahead of me and the check out was complete. Apparently, there was a computer glitch that nobody could solve. Okay then, open another lane... After about 5 or 6 minutes (I am not patient at all, this is a grossly overrated quality), I moved to the other open line. I was number 4. The cashier didnt make any effort to call for help. After another 5-6 minutes (see the aforementioned statement), I decided that enough was enough and I left. If you want to shop Walmart, go to another one. If you havent tried Aldi, do it.

Done with this store!! Have went 3 times in the last few months (3/4) and have ran into some SERIOUS issues! Todays shopping trip was again a headache. It doesnt matter what you PLANNED on buying, because when you get there.. them having straight up HOLES on every shelf and out of damn near everything from the .88 cent pregnancy test to shredded sharp cheddar IN THIER BRAND you really have no clue what your going to end up with!! The chicken.... Sweet Jesus just take the wheel!!! Grab a pack of chicken breast... and chicken juice just pours out of the package onto everything below it. No paper towels in the holder. No bags in the holder. ( i didnt get chicken!) Begged stranger to dig my hand sanitizer out of my purse for me. Got up to check out & there is for real 2 lines open with 5 in one & 6 in the other. First cashier is have a great conversation with customer, but didnt ring 1 thing up each time she spoke. Kinda pissed off at the condition & lack of stocked product, then the chicken incident.. I left my half found items on my list ( 25 items.. I found 16 ) in my cart right there and LEFT! This store SUCKS all the way around. Avoid @ ALL COST!

So they are super under staffed. I asked an employee what was going on and she said there arent enough people and they arent hiring. We sat at a self check out register for like 20 minutes with the red light and 3 people in front of us. The registers started acting up and much more. There really isnt any variety here. The things you want you wont get because they probably dont have it. Like lemons you cant buy a bag only singles. They need more staff and better stocked shelves then we can talk going up in stars

I always find everything I need at The Market. ......and I save money and time by not shopping at Walmart Super Stores since Im not tempted by the clothes, toys, or household items!! My only complaint with The Market would be not enough actual cashiers....I hate self checkout because it is a constant battle with the computer locking up and needing an associate to come assist with a code so I can continue scanning..... but overall The Market is a quick and convenient venue for grocery shopping!

At first this store was great, but it has gone downhill fast. Shelves are constantly understocked. From wine, to canned goods to frozen food -- they will be out of an item for weeks on end. As others have mentioned, the produce sections is lacking. I went there last week to get a head of lettuce. The heads were so small, wilted and brown that I ended up going up the street to Earth Fare. Cost me three times as much, but at least it was fresh.

The layout and building style are interesting -- to say the least. The color schematic differs from Walmarts tradifional blue and white, but in a good way. They keep the place clean. The prices are very low; lower than any other Walmart Ive seen. There was a great variety in foodstuffs and other things to buy, and the employees were helpful and didnt get in the way. Overall Id say it was a 4 star experience.

Hope you like blocked fire exits. Frozen foods also have a tendency to be left in the meat cooler to thaw for a ehile before being stocked, since the freezer is too stuffed all the time. This place never has soap or paper towels. Some times associates dont even have the option to wash their hands, since there isnt any soap anywhere. Bathrooms can become absolutely filthy.

If i could give no stars i would. Usually when i come into this walmart i have a good experience but today and for the past 2 weeks everytime i come in you cant find anyone when you need help and there is barley any registers open. This is really disappointing i can not believe the service that has been given there this past 2 weeks.this is unacceptable.

I found this Wal-Mart market lacking in selection compared to the others in Fort Mill and Pineville. The prices seemed to be a little higher on some of the products as well. With there being a full sized Wal-Mart on Dave Lyle and one in Newport I dont think I will be visiting this location any more.

I always get my prescriptions there and I am impressed that the phamacist takes the time to explain any special instructions or potential side effects to me. For a small store it is well stocked and the pricing is good especially on the propane tank exchange.

They have the automatic check out, which I really like. I have tried to pay with the Walmart pay, it wont let me, hopefully I had my card on me. Overall its a very good place to shop grocery, they are open 24/7. They just got to fix that Walmart pay thing.

Went in to pick up a few items. My only complaint is there are never enough lines open. I feel forced to self checkout most times. Otherwise the store is neat and clean. The staff is not overly friendly. Publix has them on that!

First time Ive been in one of these half Walmarts. I was impressed, not a real large selection of food but good for what you need . I enjoyed my visit to this mini Walmart. Loved not fighting the regular larger Walmart crowds.

This place is awful, the workers are awful. Everytime I go there is some problem; weather it be the employees or the computer. It best to drive all the way over to Dave Lyle Blvd, waste gas instead of time being at Cherry Rd.

The people are either friendly or completely ignore you. Depends on whos working. Buggies are either fully stocked or ALL outside. Very inconsistent, BUT the shelves are always stocked and have what I want.

Love the large selections of organic REAL food at much lower prices than the healthfood store down the road. Checkout lines are short, workers always friendly. Favorite place to shop when I am in town.
