I will never go back to this shoe repair nor would I recommend anyone else go here. Long story short - I took 3 pairs of boots in to be stretched. $60 a pair. I dropped the boots off December 15th. The boots were overstretched. Way overstretched. Then, they had to shrink the leather back down. They even measured when I dropped the boots off & still, I had to go back THREE times. They got the two pairs figured out. The last pair, however, was not ready until February. I spoke to one of the women over the phone at the end of January and she told me they would call when the boots were ready. Nobody called. Considering how much time they had already taken to fix what they messed up, I figured they just werent ready, but I decided to call on February 9th to check in. I was told that the last pair was ready. I get there, try the boots on, and they were still too big, but I was done at this point. They tried to charge me the full $60 despite all this BS. The lowest they would go was $40. Absolutely infuriating. Will never go back.

I dropped off shoes that needed the instep relined. The shoes came back with a lining that was nothing like the original lining and the color was awful and DID NOT match the shoe. I was appalled and told the woman who works there that they looked horrible. She kept repeating, "I think they look cute." I told her that what she thought DID NOT MATTER. I am the client and they are not acceptable. The workmanship was also shoddy with the lining not being smoothly cut and with gaps in the gluing of it. I told the woman that if they were unable to match -- or come close to matching -- the color, someone should have told me and given me the option of saying yes or no. I was told to come back to speak with someone else tomorrow which involves me taking MORE time off from work to deal with an unacceptable service and result. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I had heard to take my shoes here because of the convenient location in 5 points. I look several pairs of shoes in to be re-heeled. The guy wearing the weird hats talked me into replacing the soles. That would have been fine if they would have used some decent materials. When I picked the shoes up, hed ripped off the leather sole on my designer shoes and replaced it with this cheap gripped plastic! Why someone would put that over leather, I have no idea. Take your shoes to the place on Taylor street!! They are good and use decent materials (like leather to repair a leather sole).

No sign outside that I saw saying one had to pay for a service BEFORE it was provided. When i asked about using a credit card, but their not putting it through until the service was provided, NO! I realize they may, once in a while, have someone not pick up something repaired, but to insist on receiving money before a customer knows if the service is satisfactory is in my mind very poor business. I will never use them and I will tell all my friends about their treatment of customers.

Good shoe shine, but very overpriced. Wouldn`t use them for anything more than a shine. The ruined the interior of some shoes I had then when I asked for a refund when picking up responded with, "So I did 30 minutes worth of work for nothing?" Finally gave me my money back and Sperry Top-Sider are replacing for me. Have taken a number of shoes there, but after this experience and their attitude I don`t think I`ll be going back.

The staff here was so helpful and welcoming! They fixed my favorite pair of Justins lace up boots after the soles wore through. They gave very helpful advice and had my shoes ready in less than 24 hours! They also have an incredible selection of BEAUTIFUL leather shoes in house you can purchase for bargain prices. I got a classic pair of Bass penny loafers for more than half off retail price. Highly recommend.

I had my boots repaired here two weeks ago. I live out of town, so there is no way I can take them back and get a refund, but I had the soles and heels replaced and literally a few minutes after putting them on (a few days after I picked up) the heel fell completely off of the shoe. Im more than a little upset that I paid $55 for a repair that lasted only a few minutes.

This shoe repair does excellent work. I have been using this shop for about 7 years and I have never had any problems or complaints about their quality of work. I also know that the materials that they use are of top quality, I have checked. The staff treats me like an old friend every time that I walk through the door. Id give them 10 stars if Google had them!

Friendly staff, good work, but very over priced. I was charged $50 for a repair that was $15 at another place, when my other shoe ran into the exact same problem. The place that charged me $15 did the same quality work, same time frame.
