Well, this place is horrible. Nobody should ever go here. They are a rip off, do not know how to treat their customers, and they are liars. Heres the story: I went to purchase a ring here. The ring was too big for me, but I liked the large diamond in it. I asked how much it was to resize it, but they said that would be a $25.00 fee and they would have to send it somewhere and it would take like 7 business days. Well, I just dont trust that. Would you spend $450.00 and then not even have the ring in your possession? I cant trust a pawn shop to resize it and then come back and still expect that they will give me the resized ring. Plus, it was going to be a $25.00 additional fee too. So, I figured that I could just put another ring on top of it to keep it in place or put a ring snuggy on it to keep it in place. However, the ring snuggy was uncomfortable and another ring on top of it did not keep it in place (it kept jiggling around because it was too big for me). I went back two days later to return it. They told me that their policy is that it says on the receipt that all sales are final and that they do not do returns or exchanges. Well, you dont get the receipt until after the transaction (when its too late!!!!) I understand that it is generally assumed that pawn shops do not do full cash refunds for purchases, however most other pawn shops will at least do a full exchange so you can get full credit and get something else that you would like so that you are satisfied and will come back. Nope, not this one!!!!! Well, the original salesperson, Jeff, never informed me that there were no returns or exchanges. So, it is a lie when you dont fully inform your customers of your policies. So, they told me they could only buyback the ring at half of what I paid for it. So, thats about $210 out the window right there (not including the sales taxes). So, therefore, I went to purchase another ring that fit and had to pay $127.41 additional for it. I asked them what stone it was in the ring, and they said it was a sapphire. Well, I got back home and looked at the receipt. It said "synthetic sapphire"! So, they lied to me twice now! This was not even a real stone in the ring!!! I called them and asked to return the ring because they misrepresented the authenticity of the ring. They said they would return "my money, no problem" and hung up on me. I called back and spoke to the manager, Chad. He said he would make sure I received store credit for everything and to ask for him when I came in. Well, I went back to the store and that was not the case!!! This is lie #3 now. I was informed that Chad was busy. He did talk to me for a moment and said they would only give me HALF the money back in the form of a store credit (including only HALF the additional $127.41). I told them this whole story about how I was not informed of the no returns or exchanges policy and that they lied, and they didnt even care (not even the manager). They gave me the store credit for $284.69, which I used at another Fall River Pawnbrokers. Luckily, the other shop understood the situation, sympathized with me, and worked with me to get something better with no additional cost (believe me, I think I was ripped off enough at this store!). The manager, Alicia, at the Central Falls location also informed me that they CAN issue a full store credit to use for an exchange. It is at the managers discretion. They just DID NOT want to issue me a full credit for exchange even though they said over the phone that they would. The manager, Chad, had informed me over the phone that they would get me a ring that I wanted and would be issued store credit, I assumed, for everything. Well, I was wrong, and they lied to me!!!! Never again will I go to this store. They are total liars and basically stole almost $300 from me!!!!! I am going to dispute these transactions with my bank, and I hope nobody ever goes to this store after reading this review. This crooked store should be out of business!!!!!

Place is a joke, call up and they tell you itll be (X) when you come in Friday, then you show up and its suddenly 40 bucks more, the kicker is their atm only dishes out 200 at a time so for that extra 40 you gotta get hit with another atm fee. First time in my life Ive ever had to pawn a thing, never again. This place can get bent
