After completing the annual contact lense exam I was refused a prescription and copy of my eye script. They did charge my card for the exam and said the doctor took both glasses and contact measurements but still failed to provide a printed eye script. I agreed to trying the lenses for a full day even though I expressed the fact I already wear them. After calling back the next day to confirm they fit and such, I was told the doctor was busy but Id receive a call back. That never happened. Now out of the "trials" they provided I cant see well...had I been given what I paid for upfront I couldve ordered and received a new set of contacts. Highly irritating when you pay for a product, and have to jump through hoops to get it in the most untimely fashion possible. I will definitely be warning others to steer clear of this place.

Square deal. And the moral of the story is shopping local pays off. I went in for my first pair of reading glasses. Tried on a number of frames and settled on a set with a narrow lens and no lower rim. They looked and felt great. But when I tried them at home, I realized I had made a rookie mistake. The narrow lens made me tilt my head uncomfortably down to read. Using the glasses made the print easy, but my neck sore. So I went back in to see what could be done. The young lady was very helpful. She understood the issue and helped me pick out a new frame with a nice, wide field of vision. At virtually no additional charge - I got a reprieve from my mistake.

While I agree that the prices are a bit high, its due to they fact they deal with higher quality name brands, such as Gucci and RayBan. However my visit was perfectly Pleasant. The Doctor was knowledgeable, and friendly. The staff went out of their way to help me understand what my insurance covered and made recommendations on what to get. My new glasses came in quickly and were adjusted to my face before I left with them

Doctor Yannelli is glad to answer any questions you have and allowed me to compare two brands of contacts before deciding on which one I wanted. She gave a week supply of each kind. Both pairs of contacts she recommended turned out great. John who schedules appointments is also very professional. I would definitely recommend Sterling Optical.

Your typical higher priced, low service chain--gave me glasses I hate to wear (prefer a $6 dollar pair), dont return calls, are vague to non-existent on the warranty/guarantee. Whole experience continues to be a thorn in my side, paid $260 out of pocket and provider paid $200.

Wont provide measurements even after you purchase eye exam and prescription glasses. "We charge for that".. What a bad business model. Never going back here again.
