I went to Cycle Max in Honeybrook today to purchase a left over 2011 Kawasaki Teryx. On the website its listed for $9293.00. In the store, a bright orange tag is hanging on the machine also showing a base price of $11,099.00 minus $1806.00 discount bringing the total to the same $9293.00. My wife and I sat down with "Bryan" (sales guy). I have bought a quad from him before and several parts for all my machines from Cycle Max in the past, so he claimed to remember me. I also called earlier in the week to discuss the Teryx. He told me on that call that the $9293.00 included accessories and the website also explains that as well. Bryan wrote up a sales quote for a "New 2011 Kawasaki KRF750-PBF Blue, VIN # 502626." It shows the MSRP of $11,099.00, the $1806.00 discount, plus $495.00 in freight, $275.00 for prep, $603.78 in taxes, and $142.00 in state fees, bringing the total to $10,809.28. My wife and I decided to look over the Teryx once more before signing papers and Bryan proceeds to tell me, "Oooh, I forgot to tell you that this machine has accessories on it, let me go talk to my manager." Bryan came back out from talking to the manager with a print out and told me that the price is actually over $12,000.00 since it has accessories and labor to install them. I explained that this was unacceptable and after talking to the manager with the $10,809.28 quote in my hand she told me it was "human error" and she wouldnt help me at all. I asked to remove the accessories and she said no. I then told her that they were losing out on $10,000.00 because I was leaving and would be calling Kawasaki to tell them that Cycle Max is performing an illegal bait and switch on its customers. Im also going to call the BBB and file a formal complaint. The vehicle should be sold for the price on the written sales quote since it matches the price on the tag AND the website. I will never shop at Cycle Max in Honeybrook again, nor will my friends/family. The thing that amazes me the most here is that Cycle Max just got their dealer license to sell Polaris ATVs. The showroom was so full of Polaris machines that you couldnt even walk between them. I cant even begin to imagine how much money they have tied up in machines that wont sell quickly, not to mention the fact that they will more than likely mislead people with bait and switch tactics. This Kawasaki has been in their showroom for two full model years. I have looked at it EVERY time I have been there for quads and parts. It must be nice to be able to sit on so much inventory for so long. All in all, these people are VERY sneaky and NO ONE should buy anything from them. I will post updates after talking with Kawasaki and the BBB because this is far from over.

I just bought my first motorcycle (a 2012 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 in Candy Orange Flame) from Brian Greene at Cycle Max. I give Cycle Max and Brian 5 stars across the board! I have had my eye on this exact bike for a few months and two days after I passed my motorcycle license test, I decide to go to the dealer just to walk around. Brian remembered me from the previous times that I had visited the showroom with my fiancé and knew that I loved that bike. As a first time rider though I was uncertain as to whether I wanted to purchase a 250cc or 750cc. Being a petite rider (53" and under 140lbs) I felt like my options were some what limited based on seat heights. Brian was very helpful in providing information to help me come to the right decision for me. Even though he knew that I loved this bike, he did not pressure me into making the purchase and even recommended a few other bikes that might suit me. Of course after sitting on a few other bikes and considering the information provided by Brian, I was happy to walk out of the dealership that same day owning my first bike. I was initially going to have the bike delivered the following week (for the cheap price of $50!) but I was so excited that my fiancé and I came back to take delivery of the bike the next day. The service department was very accommodating in the last minute change and was able to have the bike prepped for me by that afternoon. For your bike needs, I definitely recommend you check them out!

i have been going to cycle max since they open up there. before that, they had a shop on rt30 in parkesburg. so, in total, since i moved into gap, pa., i have dealt with them since 1986. they have always been the same. a five star outfit!!! the trouble with some of these comments that drive their overall rating down to a 3.8 is the fact that there are a lot of ignorant people out there that cant find work and this is unfortunate that they go ahead and let this honet buisness fix the motorcycle and think that when they go back to pick it up, they say i cant pay for the repairs and can i take the bike and pay my debt in monthly payments. only to find out that the owner has been burned a couple of times when he gets no more money from them. so, he tells them, the contract you read and signed sats i own your bike until you pay your bill or until i reposess it in 90 days. now, these idiots are mad as heck because the sucker didnt bite!!! i wonder if those same people realize that by falsifying that imformation subjects them the being sued by the owner and having them put in jail when they cant pay the fine!!!??? IDIOTS!!!

My husband and I bought our scooters from Cycle Max in 2010. It was the single worst experience I have ever had with any retail business. They were slow to help us - almost as if they didnt want the business at all. We were stuck there for over 5+ hours because they had our scooters on the floor and apparently someone stole the license plate off one of the bikes - right in the shop. They accidentally "tore" our paperwork after signing it - so we had to go through the signing process all over again. After all our troubles, you would think they would offer us something - like a discount on accessories or something - not in this place. Then the absolute kicker was when they called us a few days later - they gave us the title to the WRONG VIN number, so I had to spend weeks and weeks trying to fix it. Please - if you are looking for good service and knowledgeable business experience, AVOID Cycle Max. You can get good quality bikes somewhere else.

Sales and Service I purchased my Yamaha FZ6R from Cycle Max a year ago. The salesman took the time to assess my experience and comfort with quite a few bikes before we settled on this one. There were far more advanced and expensive bikes he could have sold me; but after some time analyzing this decision, I settled on the best bike for me. I am so grateful for the time spent making this decision. They also made me a great deal! I have returned for parts and service when needed, and I am always treated with respect and professionalism; it is as if I am their best and only customer! Service has always been a combination of quickness and thoroughness, which is great for both convenience and safety. I will return to Cycle Max for any and all of my motorcycle needs. I am already looking forward to my next bike purchase. They have the best inventory one could ask for. Every time I go there "I feel like a kid at a candy store."
