This review is for the grooming department. I dont mind the store itself, Its conveniently close, and they carry a good selection of food. Its clean, and aside from a few lackluster employees the store serves its purpose. The African American woman who ran the counter on Saturday (3/4/17) afternoon was far from professional. Im a psychotherapist, I know what irritation looks like, and this associate was either suffering from a migraine or hated her job. I dont need a big song and dance, or someone to beam from ear to ear when I walk in, but I would like to know that my business is welcomed, and trust my dog is in good hands. I dont know how she managed to cut the toenail so deep with the dremmel tool, this dogs nails were rivaling Freddy Kruger, but she did. I was more upset with her sh!tty attitude.

I was in there last week, i had a cart with 200 dollars worth of stuff, a 40 gallon tank and all the stuff u need for bearded dragons, i went to the girl at check out and i just asked do u have large crickets, she slapped her hands on her legs and sucked her teeth and said why dont u buy the ones already boxed, and i said cause everytime i do there is more dead ones then alive, so she went over to get them and said something under her breath and i said forget it and walked out, i went to a different pet store that dont mind doing there job, ill never step foot in there, they keep hiring smart little kids that dont mind if the store loses money they wont be in business long

This Pecto is probably one of the worst I have been too. First, this is not my regular pecto so upon entering I was confused because the layout was different. I dont expect all Petco stores to have the same layout, however I do expect employees to be friendly and helpful if someone needs help or is new to the store. I looked around the whole store trying to find the item I needed for my cat or help from a sales associate. Fortunately I did end up finding the item but unfortunately I never found a single sales person. I am not even sure anyone was working there besides the cashier. This is such an unfriendly store that is disassociated with its customers.

They are absolutely awesome! Everyone in that store deserve kudos for being as professional and amazing as they are! If they dont have an item that Im looking for, theyll tell me exactly where I can get it. Also if I am able to wait for the item, they will tell me when the item will be in so that I can come back and get it. This has been one of the best additions to the shopping center and I am so grateful that theyre there!

Dont believe what the other reviewer says; she was clearly having a bad day. This place is great and weve taken our dog here regularly for the past year. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We had our dog trained here and they are very professional and know what they are doing. The place is very clean and things are easy to find.
