I am the Maid of honor in my best friends wedding who went here for her dress and ours. I always take a size 0-2 but when they measured me for my dress they said I need a 6 and they stressed dress sizes are different than clothing sizes. Because they are the professionals and know more about the dresses than I do...I listened to their recommendation of a size 6 and thats what they ordered me. When the dress came in, needless to say it was enormous on me. I asked if they could send it back and order me a smaller size and they said no. I paid in full so I was stuck with this dress. It needed to be dramatically altered down 2 dress sizes over 3 inches! A dress that is supposed to be ordered to size should never have to come down 2 dress sizes. They were no help in fixing their mistake. Jen said shed call me back and I never heard from her. Their professionalism and customer service is certainly lacking. I ended up paying almost the same price for alterations as I paid for the dress. They were NO HELP. Please save yourself the stress and frustration and take your business elsewhere, where businesses know how to treat their customers. I was looking for my own bridal gown there too, unfortunately they forever lost my business because of their lack of professionalism and customer service.

When I was in high school, I got my prom dress at special moments. I guess they were okay to deal with then. Now, I am a bride and I am home visiting from where I live now and I called the same day to ask if I could come into try some dresses on along with my bridesmaids. They didnt accomodate me AT ALL. First, I wasnt allowed to try any bridal gowns on and the attitude from the woman who was helping us was very cold. She stood there and stared at my bridesmaids while they tried on dresses. She was impersonable. I will NEVER reccomend Special moments to anyone due to this. I am a bride and I didnt feel special at all.

with on that day if 11-11-11 my gown looked beautiful. I am going to renew my vows . I will bring my mom and my husbands mom to look for the gown of there choice. Thank you Special Moments .
