I am so glad I decided to buy my dress at Serendipity, they are incredibly professional and definitely a top quality business without being overly expensive. I actually had to go there alone to shop for dresses but the women (Beth) helping me out never pressured me the whole time. Seriously, she was so kind and helped me try on about 10 dress until I found the one! I was so relieved to be able to experiment with different styles and explore what would work for me. Other places I went to just didn’t provide that same experience, they didn’t care as much. My experience at Serendipity was amazing!! Unfortunately, I took my dress somewhere else for alterations and I totally regret it. The other seamstress at a different company ruined my dress and 3 weeks before the wedding I had to scramble to find another! It was a nightmare.. Thankfully I went back to Serendipity, explained the situation and they helped me get the same dress off the rack. I worked directly with the owners too and they were amazing! Honestly, they sincerely cared about my happiness and did everything they could to make my experience wonderful. After all of that I went ahead and used their seamstress and she did SUCH an amazing job with my dress. This new dress was a little small but she made it work. Seriously she is amazing, I probably tried out 7 different bustle styles too, before deciding on one and she was incredibly patient. I wish from the bottom of my heart that I had just gone with their seamstress to begin with... Anyway, all in all Serendipity saved my wedding on short notice and made me feel so beautiful, and helped me find a solution to a terrible situation that I had to deal with right before the wedding. They run an honest business with incredible professionalism. I recommend any bride to go here, even if it’s a long drive. I’m telling you, it’s so worth it!

Ive been in contact with Serendipity for a while. I was on search for a CB Couture dress that I couldnt find any where. Jennifer assisted me and was able to have a loaner dress mailed to the store. They called to confirm the appointment as well to let me know they have the dress. When I called they told me that the picture did no justice to the dress I wanted... hearing that made me super excited. Today, May 10, 2014 I went to Serendipity Bridal and it was very pleasant. The place is beautiful and the layout was spacious, welcoming and I LOVE the mirrors. Considering I stayed in the mirror the whole time lol. Jennifer assisted me and she made me VERY comfortable. She started the appointment by introducing herself and asked me who I bought with me. It felt like the TLC show, Say Yes to the Dress. She told me if I wanted try on the dress I had shipped or do I want to look around for others. And of course I wanted to try on my beautiful dress. Just know that although I wear a size 6 at Express, that their size 6 is really a 4 lol. Jennifer and Janice helped me in the dressing room. Jennifer answered all of my questions and explained how the process of sizing and making of the dress. FYI, my kids and I thinks Jennifer looks like Katie Perry. :-) Will I recommend Serendipity? YES I would!!!

I dont usually write reviews but I ended up doubling my bridal gown budget and am very unhappy. My experience here started off pleasant, but as the appointment progressed it went downhill. I walked in and everyone was friendly and I was seen for my appointment on time. I even found the perfect dress! Unfortunately whoever they had measuring did so incorrectly. They ordered the dress 2 sizes too big and they didnt order the extra length , which is a lot when it comes to your bridal gown. I am very thin and about 57" and they ordered a size 4 dress, I usually wear a 0. When my dress finally came in and I picked it up and tried it on the dress was so big it was falling off. When the sempstress came out to pin me I was completely uncomfortable and decided to take my dress elsewhere to be altered. Because of Serendipity Bridal I ended up spending almost as much as I paid for the dress in alterations taking the dress in and adding length. I am very unhappy with this bridal shop and wouldnt recommend them to my worst enemy.

If you buy a dress here, I would not recommend getting your alterations done by the store. Its expensive and the work does not match the price tag. I got a bridesmaids dress altered there and it was done terribly. I called the store to ask them about fixing it, but no one ever called me back. I was in a time crunch and I am not local, so I found someone near me to fix it. I called the store to request a refund and the employee I spoke to was incredibly rude about it. She was so defensive, I could barely get a word in. Ultimately, I was able to get the store to refund what I had to pay to get it altered correctly (it pays to be a squeaky wheel). Its the only "boutique" bridal store in the area, so I get that it is convenient and has a selection that Davids wouldnt, but I would not go back or recommend to anyone else. Id drive farther away for a better overall experience.

Very rude! Just stopped in to see if they carried the new line of Maggie Sottero and was told it was fine to "come on in and look around". I recently had surgery and have been unable to try on gowns so there was no need for an appointment as I just wanted to look at the rack to get an idea. After about 30 minutes an extremely rude employee came over to see if anyone was helping us which we kindly replied that no we were not trying any on just looking at what they offered. She basically told us to get out and that we were not welcome without an appointment. Needless to say we will NOT be returning to this store for any of my wedding needs. I would not recommend them at all as they are extremely rude.

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS STORE. I HAVE NEVER MET A MOTHER AND DAUGHTER WITH SUCH A SOUR RESTING B**** FACE IN MY LIFE. I WAS BRIDESMAID DRESS SHOPPING AND THEY ASKED IF I GOT MY GOWN THERE. I SAID NO, I GOT IT AT _____. THE MOTHER SAID WHY DID YOU NOT COME HERE. I TOLD HER I WAS GETTING MY DRESS HANDMADE BY THE OWNER OF A SHOP IN DISTRICT HEIGHTS. SHE TOLD ME...."DONT EVEN GIVE ME THAT, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN EXCLUSIVE DESIGN, I AM SURE WE HAVE THE SAME GOWN". ALSO THEY DO NOT CARRY ANY DRESS SIZE BIGGER THAN A 16.. SO PLUS SIZE GIRLS CANT EVEN TRY ON DRESSES. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. THIS PLACE IS S*** AND SO ARE THE EMPLOYEES! IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD.

I called this shop to set an appointment to find my wedding dress since they carried a lot of the designers I was finding myself attracted to. When the girl picked up the phone you could tell she was going to be rude and I should have hung up then, but I was holding out hope that maybe she was just having a rough day. She asked two questions, what my bra size (38DD) and my dress size (12) were. After giving her my answers as aforementioned she replied "maybe you should entertain the idea of a plus sized store" and hung up. If I was anyone I would NOT even waste the phone call.
