Update: cldnt add this to the bottom of the review but you will understand what im about to say after u read my review....but after threats to go to court, the owner supposedly is agreeing to a 90 day warranty only if they take down my brothers bad review n now not replace the bumper they said they were gonna do.....now heres what went down....definitely would not recommend. Very unprofessional. My brother n i were suppossedly getting a deal on a subaru forrester n was told by a sales person Don, which btw i met him at a bar where he tries to buy me drinks n hit on me n gives me his business card for this place n slyly says he can get me anything for low low pymts as long as i had at least 500 down n said n i quote, "You dont know the things i can do" otherwards to make a deal go thru which i have saved as a text on my phone but anyway told us that my brother wld get 250.00 for a trade in on his truck n my brother asked for a 90 day warranty which he said was fine, which i also have recorded n on texts cuz i kept catching em in lies n wanted to cover our ass. After don put in the bank application for my brother he texted n called n left me a voicemail that the bank approved him n was ready to sign n finalize the deal. Well...when my brother got there the owner Ben said Don never even faxed his papers to the bank! So Ben had to apparently start the whole loan process from the beginning when my brother, Damien Barndt was supposedly there to pick up the car n sign papers! So Don lied n said he was approved when in fact he wasnt. Ben then claimed the bank denied my brother for the subru cuz it was not "new enough" n then told him we have a 04 toyota highlanders for about the same price as the subru which was 4200. Supposedly the bank approved him for this car n everything was signed electronically. My brother is young n believed everything Ben told him n signed everything electronically but when my brother tried reading some of it Ben said he didnt need to read it that its only for this....or that....so my brother signed. Well my brother left with no paper work from the bank to know what his payments wld b or interest rates or registration info, nothing! Now my brother didnt know this was not the norm. He thought it wld just come thru the mail. When we finally demanded paperwork he finds out the car was nothing close to the price of the subru n was over 9000! Plus a bank financing fee over 3000 n then Ben said he needed MORE money down! Not just 500 but 1000 plus the money for his truck trade in! So it went from only needing 500 to having 1250! Now they are denying everything.....even saying they never approved a warranty n never wld say that! wow! NEVER AGAIN!

My wife and I had been victimized by bait and switch by several "larger" car dealers in the Lancaster area and decided to go for a drive. There was a reasonably priced Subaru my wife remembered from her online searches at a little place called Red Lion Motors. It was a Sunday and they werent open when we called but Aaron said to come on over anyway since we were on our way. He took the time showing us whatever we wanted to look at telling us the service hed personally done to each car. That day we test drove and agreed to buy a high milage Subaru. When we returned to buy the car, we purchased a very affordable after-market warranty which is a good idea with a high-mileage vehicle. Aaron said that if anything happened to call him and they would do their best to make it right. Having purchased a number of cars, I didnt know if I should believe him. A few days later I noticed a drip coming out of the head gasket... a common problem with this particular vehicle. Oil and coolant were leaking from different places. Aaron asked me some questions and apologized for the inconvenience. He asked me to bring it in one morning. He took a look and immediately called the owner and started working out what the repair would be. They took care of a few small items not covered under warranty and offered to change the timing belt while they were at it at just the parts cost. Service after the sale is more important than most of the other factors in buying a car and Red Lion Motors was a class act when it came to this. For some of the negative reviews on here, I wonder how the reviewers approached the problem or if they just went in guns ablazin. My family had a wonderful experience at Red Lion Motors. When I need to buy our next car. I will make the drive there without hesitation.

I went here to buy my first car. The owner knew I wasnt bringing in much money but worked with me anyway. By working with me I mean he sold me a lemon. Told me there was nothing wrong with it. It had high miles, but I only needed it for doc appointments and the store. So I figured it would last until I could save for a better one. I knew It would need a tune up and minor stuff, which I put into it. 1000 dollars later and the car almost blew up on me. Gas was leaking into the engine. The rotors and breaks were horrible. I put parts into it and went to Red Lion Motors to drop it off and the owner Ben yelled at me, saying it was all my fault and I broke it. And he said I made it worse by putting new parts into it and said I was waisting his time and costng him money. They told me they fixed my hood, which they didnt. They just slapped stickers on the car. This place needs shut down. I had my twin 3 year old nieces in that car. What if something wouldve to happen? This is a prime example of how the rich and greedy walk all over the less fortunate. I do NOT reccomend anyone buy anything from them. I just dropped the car off and told them to keep it. If anything he should give me my money back.
