We started shopping for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee as a replacement for my wifes aging 2003 Jeep Liberty (which she has loved completely for the last 11 years) and, of course, began close to home. After visiting the dealer closest to our home (who had an extremely limited stock of Cherokees on the lot), we started internet shopping and noticed that Savage 61 had what appeared to be the best online inventory within a reasonable drive from our home. In the meantime, I also happened to hear one of Savage 61s radio commercials on the Reading station, which got me even more interested; so we jumped in the Jeep and drove 40 minutes to the dealership, where we met Jason Schappell, who took us around the lot, showed us a very nice variety of 2015 Cherokees, and expertly explained and demonstrated all the toys that are now available in these Jeeps . He took the time to be sure we understood the various options and how they worked. My wife narrowed her choices down to a Granite Limited and a Mango-Tango Trailhawk (both having leather interior, which was a personal requirement of my wifes), we got some quotes from Jason (who, by the way, never applied any sort of pressure) and went home to think it over. After a day or so, Jason called to check in with us and we told him we decided on the Mango-Tango Trailhawk. Unfortunately, because of schedule differences, the only day we were able to pick up the Cherokee, Jason was unavailable, so enter Frank Taddei (tah-dah!). Much like Jason, Frank gave us the whole pre-flight check and walked us through all the goodies in our new Jeep (everything from pairing our phones with the Nav system to the location of the secret button to open the fuel door :-)) and made sure we were completely satisfied with the new vehicle. After that, a fairly brief (and relatively painless) visit with finance and we were on our way. I would highly recommend visiting this dealership to anyone interested in a Chrysler/Jeep/Ram vehicle, even if it might be a little out of your way; the top notch sales team there could just make it worth your while.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience at the dealership. We just found out the day prior that my husbands old used truck was dying and not worth saving so we were on a hunt for a reasonable replacement. Jose Maradey met us right away and helped us find what we were looking for. We were unsure what exactly we wanted so he showed us around and gave real and honest opinions about the vehicles we were considering (with pros and cons of each for our individual situation). Jose was patient with us in our decision making process and never pressured us to make a quick decision or to push our budget. When we went inside to talk cost he was upfront with us about all the different deals available and gave an honest opinion on the different options available. The price offered to us was great and we ended up going home with a brand new Jeep Patriot! We had planned to go to multiple dealerships and compare vehicles and pricing but after the experience we had, we were happy to purchase our vehicle at Savage 61. Jose was an excellent salesman without being pushy or making the experience stressful. Overall I felt very comfortable and well taken care of through the entire process. Ive purchased vehicles from 2 other dealerships in the past but look forward to coming back to Savage 61 and Jose Maradey for all our vehicle needs in the future!

We purchased a 2015 Jeep Cherokee this past Friday and boy was it a wonderful experience. Dealt with a very knowledgeable sales staff, great service department and finance department. Received a fair market price for my trade in, excellent loan rate and I would highly recommend Savage 61 for your Jeep needs. We stopped back on Saturday to drop off my title and pickup a few items from the trunk of my trade, and we were treated to a wonderful lunch to boot. If you are looking for a great deal, no pressure sales, and great selection come on out to Savage 61! We have had service done on our cars here in the past and their Express Service department has always done the work right the first time, and had us out the door very quickly. In addition, they offered us refreshments and ice cream while we waited. 8/11/15 Just purchased my second car from Savage 61 and once again I would highly recommend this dealership. There was no pressure, they should me the cars I was looking for, and helped me find a car that fit both me and my budget.

Savage61 is the hook-up... I wanted to get out of my old car loan and walk away with my "dream" car. They delivered just that. My sales associate Jason Schapell was very friendly and social. He showed me all the features to my car and how they worked. He didnt pressure me into anything, he allowed me to make all my choices. (well maybe that paint warranty...lol... that was an inside joke, but a good thing)... I have Anxiety driving unfamilar cars and he didnt mind one bit test driving my car (for me) while I was in the passenger seat. Im sure that was weird to him, but he didnt say anything to me to make me feel embarrased. The general manager Shon Elk has worked his powers and gave me a trade in value more than my junker was worth. My old loan got paid off and I was sent home with my new car not even needing anything down as well. What I set out to do when I got in my p.o.s and drove out to savage61 was exactally what happened. So anyone looking and in the same situation of oweing more that ur old is worth... I recommend going to savage61.

I called this dealership over 10 times and each time I was put on hold. I decided to use their live chat feature on the website. After 20 mins of them not being able to get an answer for my simple question I was told someone would contact me the next day. I immediately got an automated email from Natasha saying that someone would contact me the next day. That day came and went and I emailed Natasha. That was almost 2 weeks ago and I still havent heard from her. Last Friday I went on the live chat after not being able to get someone on the phone and I got the same run around. I asked for a manager to contact me and I was assured they would. I asked to not have Natasha involved because clearly she doesnt care. I got the automated message from Natasha again and its been 5 days and I never heard from anyone. I just wanted to inquire about getting a key fob for my pickup and I guess unless you have a hand full of money in their show room, they clearly dont care for customers.

I have always bought my vehicles from Outten in Hamburg because they treated me well enough and mostly because I live in Hamburg. One day while visiting family in the Reading area my car broke down. I had it towed to the closest Dodge dealer, which was 61 Dodge. When I got there a young man by the name of Matt Gingrich 14 greeted me. I told Matt about my troubles and he walked me back to the service area, but our interaction didnt end there. Matt told me his shift had ended but hed be happy to sit and talk with me while my car got repaired. The repairs took about a half hour, but because Matt was there it felt like a couple of minutes. I dont let that kind of personal assistance go unnoticed. When the time comes for me to buy a new car I will definitely be going to 61 Dodge to buy from Matt! Id drive way further than just Hamburg to Reading to work with such great people! Thanks 61 Dodge and Thanks Matt! -Stan
