We went here to get a price on funeral flowers,and the lady who was at the desk was really rude and snobby.we asked if we could see some pictures or a book,to see what they had to offer and they said they did not have anysort of book to go by.when we were talking about what kind of flowers we wanted and we said a little corsage inside the cascet,the lady said to us said "thats strictly for southern people,and we would never do something like that",and when we were talking about a simple spray for the top of the cascet the lady said "we couldnt do that because my grandmother was widowed,and a spray for the top is from the husband never from anyone else" and we felt that what she said was kind of rude especially to concitering my grandmother had just died the day before,she didnt even say sorry for you loss. She also tried to rush our "meeting" even thought their was no one else their.Even thought they make beautiful flower arrangements they are very rude and pushy and I would certainly take your business somewhere else were of i were you

I was EXTREMELY fortunate to have stopped in to Z Florist because my gut told me to! I had picked up my boutonniere for my soon to be husband and my (8 yr. old) son from a different florist in Etna. Needless to say, I thought they looked huge and they had glitter on them. I also had a bucket full of flowers for me to make my own bouquet. When I stopped in Z Florist, the staff stopped what they were doing and graciously helped me calm my pre-wedding night nerves. The staff helped me make the boutonnieres the size they should have been, and offered to help me design my bouquet because I was running out of time. I was frantically realizing that I took on too much to handle. With a little bit of their flowers and their wonderful expertise, and a lot of their generosity and warmth, I was smiling with happy tears in my eyes and on my way to see my family. I am forever grateful to their staff. And I am happy to be their new customer, buying flowers from them to celebrate all of our future family events.

The classiest florist in north Pittsburgh, hands down! I started ordering from them 7 or 8 years ago when I lived in NYC - Id order flowers to be delivered to my mom in Glenshaw for her birthday and Mothers Day. The arrangements were lush and artful... robust, fresh, large blooms - worked into gorgeous and unique arrangements. Similar - or better - than the quality Id see in nice NYC florists but at Pittsburgh suburb prices. The team is quirky and friendly, like a little family (my mom even ended up joining the team part time after retirement!) I still use Z Florist every chance I get and wish I had them here in Florida.

I purchased a flower arrangement to be delivered to a friend who is suffering from cancer. However the delivery was not made to the correct person. My friend informed me she hadnt received the flowers. Disappointed I went back to the florist to explain. The florist was upset at me stating how she is going to loose money, as if I did something wrong! Said she would redeliver but I would have to pay for that or deliver myself. I am very disappointed in their attitude and lack of compassion for my sick friend. I have patronized this store many times, This will be the last! Her attitude was disgusting and immature.

My son just go married on May 22nd and Z did the flowers for the wedding. If you want the WOW factor then you need to visit Mark at Z. From the bridesmaids bouquets to the stunning bouquet he made for my daughter in law to the unbelievable centerpieces he made for the reception, we just couldnt stop saying WOW!!! The flowers were so stunning and they just added to the beauty of the day. Thank you Mark and the staff at Z for making our kids day even more beautiful by listening to what the kids wanted then taking it to the next level and then some. Your work is truly amazing and we thank you.

I ordered flowers for Valentines Day for my fiance when I placed the order I told them that she works from 7 oclock to 3 oclock they guaranteed me that the flowers would be there by 3 and they was not delivered to her they actually got delivered at 3:25 so I had to go back up and get my money back I do not recommend this place to deliver flowers at all I was going to order my flowers there for my wedding so now Ive got to go find another florist

Ive been ordering from Z Florist for years, always over the phone from California for a family member in Pittsburgh. (No, Im not the same reviewer who ordered from California for his brother.) The recipient always loves the flowers and comments on how she really likes that florist. Theyre very friendly and helpful when I call, and they are able to get deliveries out to the local area that same day.

I live in California and ordered these flowers for my brothers surgery. He lives in Pittsburgh. My brother called me immediately after receiving the arrangement and raved about how fantastic it looked. The clerk that I spoke to over the phone was friendly and they delivered the flowers at the time specified. I will definitely be using them again!

I needed both at the last minute, same day and the folks @ Z didnt disappoint. Beautiful Nosegay with the exact periwinkle blue for my sons date & an amazing wreath that was displayed outside for an honorary event then taken to the cemetery. I would HIGHLY recommend Z Florist. My boyfriend and I have been going here for 6 years. For high school dances, to now birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays. I have been more than happy with EVERYTHING. They are so helpful and do beautiful arrangements!
