I cant stand sweets, however, as a result of quitting smoking or Party Cake moving into my neighborhood, I love the sweets. The burnt almond torte is now my official birthday cake. It used to be lasagne. I had limited myself to only enjoying this almond delight...until last week. I picked up my son from daycare and the cook gave me a cupcake for Valentines day. When I got home I took a bite, for fun, and it turned out I ended up inhaling the best cupcake I had ever eaten. I discovered it was from Party Cake. This was a relief because I thought it was a fluke and I would never have it again. I ended up going for cupcakes today and it turns out Wednesday is cupcake day so you must get there early if you would like to have the best cupcake in the world. I left with a burnt almond torte which was accidentally dropped on my kitchen floor. I ate it anyway.

This is a wonderful neighborhood bakery. They also do excellent cakes. I got my daughter a beautiful and delicious doll cake for her 4th birthday. It was so cute! I highly recommend them.
