If you dont read the entire review, at least take this from me: Dont make the mistake of buying from a retailer until youve stopped here. Im the most critical person I know, but my fiance and I have nothing but rave reviews for Unclaimed Diamonds. I typically spend months mulling over large purchases, but based on my consumer knowledge of the diamond market, Unclaimed Diamonds presented the perfect ring at an even better price. I went there months ago to sell some jewelry begin a half-year long process ring searching. I was helped by Neil who instantly made a lasting impression on me. After watching him interact sincerely and in an un-pushy way with other customers, I received nothing but warm, sincere, unsalesy straight talk from him. I made my intentions of not being a buyer that day quite clear, and Neil still gave me the kind of customer service I believe he would have to a cash-in-hand customer. His assessment of my goods was right around the other vendors assessment, perhaps a little better than some of the lowest, which indicated to me that he was fair. Not only did he give me full disclosure on the value of the jewelry I had to sell, he provided me with suggestions about where I might make a better profit selling the jewelry in the same city! I honestly felt like Neil treated me like he would treat a family member. Of course he wanted to make a profit, but he was more interested in developing a long term customer relationship than pushing for a quick sale and moving on to another actual buyer. When it was time to buy our engagement ring, Unclaimed Diamonds was the first and last place we visited - on New Years Eve, nonetheless. With traffic being crazy in Philly on New Years Eve, we called in advance to see if there was any availability and how late they would be staying open. Robin answered the phone, put us on hold, and actually went outside to check for parking. She told us that they were closing at 5 but would remain open a little longer if we were planning on visiting. She was helpful, understanding, sincere, patient, classy, and fair. She made us feel comfortable and my fiance feel special. Their combination of customer service, product originality, and value cannot be matched. The jewelry there is not only beautiful, but its more original than anything you can find at the retail chains. They make no assumptions about their customers knowledge or financial situation, theyre happy to steer you in the parameters youve designated for them, and they negotiate very fairly. I would send my own family members there. After staying open nearly an hour longer than they expected on New Years Eve, the staff actually went to work to create a personalized appraisal document for our insurance company certified with a picture of the diamond by the gemologist (this was way after the credit card was swiped). And since the ring was not yet fit to size, they gave us a ring guard to wear until we could make it back for a free re-sizing. To whom this may concern, Besides the commercial being yelled in my head all day, "UNCLAIMED DIAMONDS" my sister also recommended me to go to this store for an engagement ring. I went in yesterday already having a ring on hold in jersey for me. What i thought was already perfect in my hometown was over shadowed by your selection, but most of all by your staff. My girlfriend can be quite picky, but that was not an issue for Linda who was very patient with us and went through almost every ring in stock to accomodate my sweethearts needs. We found the perfect ring for the perfect price within our budget. Sue was wonderful in working with us to meet our budget and I could not be more grateful. This symbol of our love will last forever and so will the memory of picking it out thanks to everyone there. They offered us water and coffee, we had a lot of laughes, we even danced! Yes, I am now working on my salsa and doing the hustle so I can show my philly girls a farm boy can move his hips and "DO THE HUSTLE..DOO DOO DOO D-DOO DOO DOO DOOOOOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO DOO DOO DOO D-DOO DOO DOO." I am not usually this quirky but I am the happiest man in the world right now. Finding the perfect ring is hard enough, but finding good customer service and people who genuinely want this special moment to be that much more special is a blessing. After showing my sister she pointed out a scratch in our diamond. I called today and they were not upset at a minor complaint, they didnt hesitate to tell me to come in as soon as possible to resolve the issue. They even remembered our names and were very pleasant in telling us to come in at our convenience. I could go on forever with how pleased I am with my decision to come to your store but its 9:20 pm and I have to be up at 3:00 am otherwise i would. Whether this letter goes up the chain to the highest person at your company or if it dies when i press send, the memory of my experience there will be with me forever and I will be certain to tell everyone I know who is thinking to solidify their life with someone to come to your store! Thank you for choosing such good people to run your store, every single one of them but especially Linda and Sue made me feel like a part of the family. I couldnt be happier and whether it is my wedding band, earrings, watches, or other friends taking the plunge, I can assure you it will all be done through your store. My husband bought me a ring that was too large. We went to the center city location and the sales person convinced me to get a size that i warned her felt too small. Nevertheless we went with her recommendation and when i went to pick it up it was TOO small and felt very uncomfortable. We asked her to increase the size and she asked me what did i have for breakfast suggesting that my breakfast was the reason why my ring did not fit. I explained numerous times that the ring felt uncomfortable and she did not acknowledge my concerns. The sales person appeared to be annoyed that we were asking her to increase the size. After much pleading she charged us 15.00 to have the size increased. NEVER again will we purchase anything from them again. Horrible experience!

I GIVE THIS PLACE NO STARS MY HUSBAND AND I BOUGHT A RING ON LINE IT DIDNT COME IN 2 TO 3 DAYS LIKE THEY STATED AND ALSO HIS RING TURNED BLACK AND THEN THEY STATED THAT WE CAN NOT RETURN THE RING AFTER BEEN WORN...THIS PLACE IS A BIG RIP OFF WE HAD THE RING FOR ONLY 1 WEEK AND HIS TURNED BLACK AND WE CANT TAKE IT BACK BECAUSE HE WORN IT???? THINK ABOUT IT THIS IS A WAY SO YOU WONT GET YOUR REFUND...EVERYONE I PREFER ZALES ME AND MY HUSBAND BOUGHT A WONDERFUL WEDDING BAND SET AND WE LOVE IT GO TO ZALES!!!!! NOT THIS CHEAP PLACE HERE YOU HAVE BEEN WORN
