I have purchased from D&K on 4 occasions (a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a TV and a BBQ grill) over the years. These guys know appliances, not like some teenage clown at Best Buy or a retired guy working part-time at Home Depot. They give you options and explain the pros and cons (if any) of each brand and product. They dont pressure you to buy the highest priced item either. For 3 of my purchases, their price was better than the big box stores mentioned above. The other purchase was priced the same as those big stores. And for the 3 purchases that I requested delivery, the delivery fell within the time frame that I asked for. The dishwasher installation went smooth. They also assembled my grill in like 20 minutes when they delivered it. That probably would have taken me an hour and a half if I tried it myself. Ive referred quite a few people to D&K (my parents, brother, my mother-in-law, a co-worker, and numerous friends) and they were all happy with the prices and service. Its refreshing to deal with knowledgeable people for a change. And I like to support a small, local, family-owned business when I can. Id recommend D&K to anyone.

I have been dealing with D&K for the past 7 years or so on a Commercial and Residential level. Their product knowledge and concern for budget is very genuine. I have never had a bad experience with D&K and the Staff has always been very responsive and friendly. If I know anyone in the market for appliances, I do not hesitate to steer them towards D&K. They are a Family Owner Operated Small Business. They can get everything from Zub Zero to Frigidare they want to meet with you and see what they can do to fit your needs. They have done installations for me and it went off without a hitch, their crew was on time, polite, well dressed and did a professional job. I would feel comfortable leaving a key to my home with the staff of D&K to do the work if I was out of town, that is how good a job they did for me. We re-did most of our kitchen appliances using this store. We bought a new refrigerator, washing machine, and oven. All looked well until about a month in when we realized that the stove top doesnt work properly. "oh well" we said, "its just this". Fast forward a year and now everything is broken. Our refrigerator leaks, our washing machine constantly has parts breaking, and our stove top is still hard to control. When we contacted then for help they not only took about a week to respond but also, in my opinion, overcharged heavily for their services which didnt even fix anything. After they left the machines began breaking once again. This business, its service, and its products are no longer trusted by my family, friends, or anyone i know. I will make sure of that. I advise anyone reading this to STAY AWAY. Go to lowes or something, at least they are a recognized company.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!! Ive never dealt with a worse company in sales. They seem nice in the showroom and appear easy to work with until you start purchasing with them. They showed me one thing and sold me another. I had to do all the research work that they should be doing to ensure I was getting the right items and would fit in my kitchen. Their paper work seems borderline fraud. Their installers are nice but kept talking about how bad the salesman are. They dont know their products and sold me a fridge that was only a built in when they I asked specifically and they said it was a free standing, after 5 months the end result was me having to pay to redo my kitchen cabinets for the built in as it was cheaper than any other solution. They are HORRIBLE to deal with! Endless calls and emails that get no where and excuses after excuses. Avoid this company at all costs

I cannot say enough about D&K. Over the past six years my husband and I have purchased five major appliances from D&K and used its service department several times for other appliances. Dan and his crew are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell and take the time to answer your questions. They truly help you make an informed decision. I recently purchased a Wolf induction cooktop and it has exceeded all of my expectations. D&K even came to my house before the purchase was made to make sure it would fit in the existing space. The service department is fabulous as well. They respond promptly and their employees are polite and work as neatly as possible in your home. I have been to other appliance stores in the area but none of them compare. Customer service and quality are a priority at D&K and it shows.

Over the past 20 odd years, we have worked with a number of the regional appliance stores in the Phila suburbs - and apart from low pricing, we had poor service in the showroom, poor service during delivery and poor service during the lifetime of the appliances. In fact one big name retailer actually had worse service than the box stores - repeatedly! Then we discovered D&K while shopping for a whole kitchen renovation. In-store service during the shopping process was great. Pricing met or beat the big name retailer we had finally given up on. Delivery was great as well. Installation was by GC so cannot speak to that aspect. We have returned to D&K since then for additional appliances and parts with same good report.

I received a phone call from Steve informing me he was leaving the factory & should be to my house within 15 minutes, he was! Steve greeted me with a firm handshake while looking me in the eyes & asked how my morning as been. Having been a business owner for over 45 years, with a service department I know how important first impressions are! Steve was courteous, professional, clean & conscious in everything he did. After the installation was complete he reviewed the operation of the new installed dishwasher asking me if I had additional questions prior to his departure. Its so nice to see a young man who likes his job & employer! Steve is a true professional & asset to the D & K Family.

We have bought every major appliance in our home from D & K Appliances and have always been pleased with the experience. The salesmen are knowledgeable and take time to explain options. We have never found them to be pushy. The service department is also very good. We have been able to get service quickly. One time a service man came late in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. We didnt expect anyone until after the holiday, but he told us he didnt want us to be without our washer during the holiday.

I recently purchased a washer and dryer from DK at the suggestion of a friend. Their prices are comparable to any big box retailer - I compared their prices to Sears, Lowes and Home Depot. Their secret is that they actually have equal buying power because they buy as a coop with other independants. Their service is exceptional, and they have been around for over 50 years. Knowledgable, friendly staff that does not work on commission. AND, they stand behind their products!
