I purchased a used GE stackable washer and dryer.... I was given a 90 day warranty on it from the owner, Patrick W. After 3 weeks into owning it I started hearing a loud screeching noise from the dryer when operating......I called the store and spoke to a lady about the issue.....she said she would call back after she found the original sales receipt.....she never called back. I then had to call the store numerous times and leave messages over and over again about my problem......Days later the owner called and said he never received my messages......ok.....so he then set up an appointment with me to check it out.....never came.....never called......i finally got ahold of him days later.....and he set another appointment.....same thing.....no call no show......and still never called to apologize or anything.....he doesnt care.....the owner is a joke.....and I will NEVER EVER buy anything from him again........as long as hes getting that money from people.....he is not worried about money he already made from someone.....and I find this to be true because my second appointment was set up on a day where he said he had no other appointments.....but then he made some sales and had to take care of them and just completely disregarded my appointment that was set 3 days prior.........be careful with your money!!!!!!? By the way.....the POSITIVE reviews on this page are FAKE.....his business is not good at all.....sells used appliances that he supposedly inspected and ensures they work good.....if so....he wouldve seen the worn bearing on my dryer and wouldve cleaned out all the dust and lint the that accumulated on the electrical components.....luckily it didnt catch on fire......anyone can push a start button just to see something run......to sell used appliances like he does it should be necessary to do a full inspection to make sure everything is right and not a hazard.......never again!!!!!!!!!

I am not a personal friend of Patrick but Id be happy if he called me one someday. I stopped in to ask about a possible replacement refrigerator in my condo in Ocean City Maryland. When I explained what was going on with my current appliance he told me what to do to try and SAVE from even having to buy one! I did what he said and it worked...So I spend NOTHING!!! That being said I fell in love with a 2007 refrigerator that would look nice in my house back in Baltimore. Learning that my husband and I do lettering and graphics for a living he asked if we could finish his truck which he had been waiting to have done since December. So we went down two weeks later July 2016 and for our labor he gave us that beautiful black and stainless appliance for my kitchen. Hes happy with our job and the appliance in my kitchen BEAUTIFUL! And it Work GREAT!!!

Zero stars. This guy is a fraud. First thing was delivery. Was supposed to be 1st thing on a Monday. I took off time from work and delivery never happened. When I called the store, owner Patrick said the weekend people double booked so would have to take delivery in the evening after 5:00p.m. Well that delivery never happened and phone calls went unanswered. Next day got even better when he did the bait and switch. He was doing me a favor sending a refrigerator with only 2 wire shelves instead of the glass shelves in the refrigerator I paid for on Saturday. Plus freezer was much smaller. Again his words he was doing me a favor. At this point when I called the store and told them to rectify this problem I got a smart mouth so I am taking this fraud to court. Nobody do business with this guy!

Never received my washer and dryer. No call/no show on delivery date. I called constantly for two days and left several messages; no one ever answered the phone or returned my call. When I finally talked to the owner, Patrick Whaley, he said he did not have my phone number or address (both were written, by us, on the receipt at the time of purchase, and can be seen on my copy). He then said he would have a driver work late to bring them tonight. No call. No show. No one will answer the phone. Called his cell number and the mailbox is full. I am now in a new house with no washer and dryer. Ive filed a dispute with my credit card company to try to get my money back. Looking through the reviews, this is the exact scam theyve run with others. Please do not buy from this man.

Purchased all my kitchen appliances from Patrick. I live out of state. I paid w my credit card over the phone. I was assured they would be delivered. It never happened. I waited two days. My house has no appliances and I do know what I am going to do! I filed a fraud charge w BB&T and they will be investigating . My credit card has been cancelled. I am very inconvenienced- Save yourself the heartache of being ripped off by someone who claims he is pastor. Unbelievable- dont let it happen to you! He is really convincing! Total crooks-

I had a great experience with Selbyville Appliances! My washer and dryer both went up within 24 hours and I gave Patrick a call and had a new washer and dryer by the following day. About a week after I got my washer and dryer my mother gave me a call and told me her refrigerator had completely stop working so I gave Patrick another call and I got an awesome deal!!! This business is family oriented and cares about emergency situations. Ill ALWAYS go back to them if Im ever in a bind.

My extra fridge died, and I needed a quick replacement before a big holiday weekend with guests arriving. Patrick came to the rescue. I had a good-condition used one delivered within 48 hrs, and they even hauled away my broken one. I was amazed at the large selection available in Selbyville, from top of the line all the way to budget and economy models of all appliances: refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers and dryers. Definitely recommend shopping here.

I just moved to delaware this past month. I was in need of a fridge so I checked out the store. Patrick was very helpful in the process. I did experience a problem with the fridge I bought. I called the store and the repair tech was at my house in 20 min. The part had to be ordered in. In the mean while Patrick sent a backup fridge to hold me till the part came in. It took about 4 business days and it was fixed. Hes got a life long customer here.

This place is a scam! Buyers beware! I went in to purchase a stove and decided to cancel my order but they still charged my card! This is ludicrous! I have filed a dispute because they wont return my calls & wont refund my $. Patrick Whaley, youre a crooked business man who lacks integrity!

We purchased a fridge from Selbyville Used Appliance Store. After having it for about 3 weeks we had an issue with the fridge. A technician came out and looked at the fridge. The fridge was then replaced immediately It been over 2 months now and we love our new fridge. Thanks
