The store is way under-staffed and customer service was non-existent. I was at the store in the morning and purchased a patio furniture set ($374) and had to come back with another vehicle in order to transport the items home. I asked what to do and was told to come to the service desk and go from there. There is nothing labeled service desk. I went in looking. There was one cashier with a long line, so I figured there is usually workers in the furniture area or in the store that could help. Nope on that idea too. I did catch a worker going towards the front of the store and asked her. She said she was not the furniture person and kept going as she was help another customer. So I go into the long line and waited my turn. I was told to wait "over there". The cashiers kept waiting on customers. I guess they expected me to wait until the folks in line were taken care of. It as obvious that they were going to keep the check out line going. I interrupted as I had already waited in line and asked for my money back.... I do not blame the workers there. The store management is to blame. To have two people in that store on a Saturday is ridiculous. They should have been there.

Typically I have nothing but great things to say about this store. I purchased furniture and told them at the time of the purchase I did not have a move in date. It has now been determined that I will not be able to use the furniture. My customer service experience has left a lot to be desired. I never took possession of the furniture and paid for it in full.

This store has more stock than some of the other Big Lots stores around town. The shelves are better organized and they have more staff in the checkout lines. Its really good for quick shopping trips.
