The primary problem with this Wal-Mart are its shortsighted employees. The majority of them are unconcerned with having a good work ethic. What the management allows to go on in this store is atrocious. The bathrooms are a philthy and the aisles are a disaster. I have seen some poorly managed stores, however this takes the cake. I walked in and five minutes later walked out thinking the management needs figure out how to motivate the staff in those morning meeting and cast a shadow of leadership to each and every employee or perhaps the solution is out with the old and incompetent and in with the new. If dear old Sam Walton ( I met him trust me he was a firm yet fair man) were to tour this store he would almost surely fire 90%, starting at the top, and hire people who actually take pride in their work. The other issue here is one of demographics and complacency. It is a fact that more than half of employees here are Hispanic, the store manager Ms. Maria Santini is Hispanic also. There is nothing wrong with this outright, however the majority rules when the ruler isnt ruling. The majority shares its roots with Ms. Santini and therefore their employment is protected under the umbrella of family relations rather then work performance. Maria, I challenge you to reevaluate your staff, eliminate the under performing, and perhaps refresh it with people like myself that desperately need to work and would love to go above and beyond for the opportunity. Just for the record my personal opinion of Hispanics, they can be some intelligent and hard workers with good family values. This bunch give me the impression that laziness is king and Maria is queen. Thanks for shopping Wal-Mart come back again (SMILE) you wont hear these words or be greeted with a smile anywhere storewide including the door person. Good luck Ms. Santini, Ill tour the store in another month to check in on your hopefully improved store. Signed the secret shopper! P.s. I wont embarrass Maria with the pictures that I took of various tripping hazards, unsanitary bathrooms, and employees working in unsafe an manner.

I just got hung up on when I called the Walmart store on Lincoln Highway in Lancaster PA. I called to ask what the cut off time was when making a payment on a Walmart Credit card (which I have but will be canceling). The manager Crystal was extremely rude, and disrespectful. I have managed a RadioShack for years and never would I have spoken to a customer like the way she spoke to me. She said she did not know the cut off time and that I should call the credit card company. I asked to speak to a manager, and she said she was the manager, and I asked her why is it that she didnt know. When I asked to speak to another manager or someone else who was knowledgeable on the subject. She proceeded to become defensive and told me to call another Walmart, and hung up. I know I am just a little ripple in a very big pond, but I will leave as many reviews, and tell everyone I come into contact with about the horrible service I received when calling that store. I have always continued to shop at Walmart despite all the negative things people have said about their shopping and customer experiences. Even when I called back to ask again and asked for the manager she identified herself, I told her I was the lady that called about the credit card question, and not even an apology, no remorse for her poor behavior. She told me to go ahead and call corporate....this is who you have in supervisory positions? Extremely disappointing.

Walmart para mi siempre a sido un lugar propio para hacer mis compras..pues casi siempre encuentro lo que quiero.Pero estoy muy preocupada ..pues ultimamente estoy encontrando en el area de de las neveras para ser mas clara donde ponen los pescados frescos como por ejemplo el SALMON ..ESTAN DAÑADOS !! Eeww! A nivel de putrefacto! En su enpaque puedes ver su jugo natural blancusco ,Eso quiere decir están en desconpocicion.Pero me encargue de hablar con un enpleado sobre este asusnto. la cual es muy peligroso pues esto puede llevar a cualquier persona a enfermarse gravemente y llevarlo a la muerte.

im from asia and i have no right to be racist at all and my english is not perfect but i live here in the u.s. so me and my family tried and trying everyday our best to speak the english language as a respect for this country. its becoming so stupid and uncontrolable the situation here or there at walmart nobody speak english anymore and the employees are so rude and very unprofessional. they should hire half english speaking and spanish and please assign 2 employees at all time in the service dept or on the floor to be able to assist the customer properly. last time i went there to have an oil change and get some infos waited for 25 minutes for nothing but the guy in the front desk cant speak english and we know hes pretending that hes busy on the computer but the truth is he cant help us because HE CANT SPEAK THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE. please please do something before this place get bankcrupt... P.S. i intentionally used "lower case" in comments.

I will never shop at this Wal-Mart in the future! Worst Wal-Mart I have ever been in. Customer service is extremely poor. Extremely long check out lines, employees are not helpful, rude and do not assist shoppers at all. Waited over 2 hours in line to check out. Asked an associate that was walking around the toy department a question about an item in the toy department. He stated he does not work in the toy department and walked off. Did not offer to get a toy associate to help us (while he was holding a walkie talkie in his hand). When I am at the front of the store, I ask for a shift manager to complain to about the person that did not help us in the toy department. They call the shift manager and who walks up? The guy that I was going to complain about. The rude person that did not offer any assistance and stated he did not know anything about the toy department was a MANAGER!!!! I would rate this store at a -100!!!!!!!!

I know Walmart is the one stop shop, and they have literally just about everything but... This particular location (rt 30 store #2334 nicknamed "ghettomart") I have issues with because 1. There is never enough staff 2. They dont have as big of a selection of some things like the other locations 3. it is not as clean as some of the other stores 4. Its disorganized 5. When they clean the bathrooms it seems like they are cleaning all of them all at the same time, so if you have to go to the bathroom forget it because they are both closed 6. A good deal if not most of the employees either dont speak English or pretend they dont 7. Employees are rudeabdnot helpful, with the exception of a small handful that does go over and above with customer service... So thus being said I recommend if you are in the area to go to one of the other local locations like Fruitville Pike, Ephrata, Parkersburg, or Oxford.

What a mess. Sunday at noon, and management once again is completely clueless that there are hundreds of shoppers trying to check out, lines are backed up with people ten deep, and angry folks are waiting across the main isle, back in the clothing section! Our line comes to a standstill as a couple is pulling some kind of entitlement check scam , maybe WIC, Im not sure. First they have a pile of 6-8 checks. They go through a few to buy enough baby formula to feed ten infants. Next they are giving the cashier a hard time since they have picked all kinds of items that the checks wont cover. It was a 20 minute + circus that only ended after I walked into the middle of a managers huttle, and asked if they were going to let this clown show go on for another 20 minutes? Seriously, this place is out of control on weekends!
