Go to That Fish Place for fish! We were next door at the craft store and just decided to stop in to see what they had. Kids fell in love with a fiddler crab. After asking many questions about care/needs of this animal -- food, water, temperature, etc. and based on the recommendations of the clerk, decided that it would be a fit with our goldfish tank. That is where this store was keeping these animals -- in a tank of goldfish. A day later when the crab kept climbing out of the goldfish tank, investigated more and found out that they cannot be kept in fresh water (will give them a total lifespan of 3 weeks), must be able to climb out of the water daily, should be in warmer temperatures than room temp, etc. Basically, all the "advice" we were given was incorrect so we now find ourselves setting up another tank, which I didnt want, in order to properly house and care for this animal. Should have known better when I saw that they were selling dyed albino african frogs! They might know about cats and dogs, but stick to the experts for fish. Im wishing I had.

I just had the worst experience at Pet Supplies Plus today. We go there all the time for the dog wash (usually at least monthly for both of our dogs). The manager, Jen Black (I found our her name today), was so rude about a situation that took place in the store. There were two very scary mean black large dogs in the dog wash. The owner told a lady she couldnt bath her dog at the same time she was in there. I was a little frustrated that we couldnt use the unused bath. The manager went and told the owner of the other dog that " it was okay, and that customers were getting pissy with her." I was so displeased that she said that within ear shot of me as well as use that type of language as a manager of a store. The two dogs came out of the bath room and were barking and growling at everyone, and even attacked each other for a second. Jen, the manager, told her employees to make a path for these dogs to come out of the store. I am so frustrated that they would allow such scary mean dogs in the store. It was terrifying, and I am a huge dog person.

I went inside here today to possibly purchase a parrot cichlid. I take one look into these tanks and I knew something was wrong. Dead and injured fish littering the tanks. I notified an employee and took her a especially bad tank (there were at least 4 dead bottom feeders being feasted on by fancy Gold fish) . She more or less shrugged me off, hardly said a word, and then she walked away. I stood there for what felt like 20 minutes and nobody tries to remove these fish. I saw a poor cichlid whose tail had been eaten off trying to hide from his other cramped tank mates. If this wasnt bad enough most of the information on the fish they had posted was incorrect. Whether this is ignorance or laziness its animal abuse.Please go to purchase your animals elsewhere.

I was at pet supplies on Friday 12/30/16 at 6:13pm There was hardly anybody in the store and the cashier looked right at me, did not say a word and look down at her phone. I was not greeted I stood in the toy aisle right by the cash register 4/10 minutes trying to find a toy that my dog would not tear apart and another sales associate walk right by me and did not ask if I needed any help. So I purchased a bag of dog food and went to PetSmart where I was treated like royalty. I would not recommend the store to anybody!!!

I used to go to That Fish Place to get special diet cat food but this place blows that out of the water! Not only are the prices way better (I was paying $28/bag and Pet Supplies Plus offers the same thing for $21/bag) but they have a much better selection for cats and dogs. It looks a little deceiving from the outside but this place is truly great. They also have a whole array of dog treats, bakery style. I would highly recommend this place to any cat or dog owner. Its also not nearly as crowded as That Fish Place.

A good variety of products and a very friendly staff. They always take the time to greet me and my dog and are happy to spend time helping me. Sometimes the prices are a little higher than average, but sometimes they are quite a bit lower. The convenience and friendliness more than make up for the extra few cents.

The store is a little small and cramped, but prices are very reasonable. Not the cheapest, but less than big chain pet stores. Staff is very helpful, and at checkout sometimes you find out there is a coupon available to use on your purchase, which is always a pleasant surprise, and makes me want to stop by again.

Friendly employees for the most part but one of the fish tanks had about 10 dead fish in it clogging the filter intake and the sucker fish were feasting on their bodies. I will not be back for any fish supplies, thats for sure!

Fish were pretty sickly and almost all of them died within a week. Im a very avid aquarist, and have never had that many fish go so quickly. The staff was helpful and friendly though

This place has the best prices in the area for kitty supplies and the selection is great. You dont have to walk around a huge store to get what you want.
