My family and I are obsessed with this place. The ice cream is so fresh and delicious its hard to even find an adequate way to convey it on a google review. Also, the Baked Foxes are especially good. Its a popular place so be prepared, but its popular for a reason. Personally, Ive needed the long wait just to figure out what I want! They also have a lot of great local snacks that will tempt you when/if you wait in line -Emmas popcorn (also incredible), Shueys pretzels (a local favorite), and Nuts about Granola. Side note: Google does a good job of telling you when the most popular times are, and half the times Ive stopped there was no line. Granted if youre stopping after dinner on a Saturday night, be prepared to wait. It pains me to read that some impatient guy would give this amazing place one star simply because of his inability to wait. Dont be like him. Patience is a virtue and you will receive your "just desserts" for yours. ;)

Excellent ice cream, made on-site with milk straight from the owners farm. There is also a small shop area featuring specialty and locally-produced foods, including cheeses and frozen meats. Fox Meadows has recently begun serving a classic sandwich/soup/salad/burger menu for lunch; I have not yet tried any of their lunch offerings but if theyre as good as the ice cream, you wont go wrong. The one downside, especially for anyone in a rush or families with small children, may be that you will often have a bit of a wait before you can order. The lines tend to run especially deep from early evening to close on Friday and Saturday.

AGAIN.. THE ONLY THING GOOD IS THE FOOD. .. The way it is set up is sooo stupid..Mr Fox says.."yes..ya..we are working out it " NO,YOUR NOT..Waitress walking around to find a where good goes ..till you get it ..it is cold..only 2 cashiers... just needs better management !! WAITED over an hour for a wrap..ooo it came ..with a gift card for the wait..seating here right now writing comment.. every time we come ..hoping it gets better...

Who doesnt like ice cream and the different flavors. Anything from lavender to mint and the normal choc and vanilla. Then dont forget the little store with shueys pretzels or all the different flavors of popcorn. While you are deciding which flavor jelly or half gallon of ice cream to take home you can stand at the window and watch the guy make the ice cream (if he is there) or answer the questions on the wall.

Excellent ice cream, unique flavors, friendly service, local family business that supports a local family dairy fairy farm. When I was here I tried the Foraged Pine with Rosemary flavor ice cream and it was delicious. The young lady working suggested i try it with a scoop of their ginger bread and a scoop of their peppermint candy cane and WOW Im glad I did! It was like Christmas in a dish!

I was not impressed. Ive heard raves about their ice cream but honestly Ive had better from a carton of Turkey Hill brand. I did love the building and wrap around porch to enjoy the evening while eating the ice cream. I may visit there again... But Im in no hurry to go back. Oh, one more thing. Offering at least one sugar free option would be great. Other local "made on site" shops do.

Fantastic service, great ice cream unique flavors in just the right serving size. Both times I went was in and out of line in a flash, took longer trying to decide which of their flavors to get! Heard rumors that the line gets long over the summer like a 20 minute wait, that wait will be well worth it in the end. I look forward to bringing my boys and friend here again and again.

Great ice cream and great service! Only complaint was that the blueberry crunch ice cream has pecans in it. For people with nut allergies, you wouldnt assume that a blueberry ice cream would have pecans, so would suggest noting that somewhere. They did offer me a whole new order of another flavor though, so great customer service! Plenty of parking and seating.

Fox Creamery has a delightful and unique selection of REAL ice cream. As a dairy to customer business I couldnt be more impressed. The prices are competetive with other local ice creameries. The interior of the shop is stunning. Every flavor I have tried (and Ive tried many) have been a blessing to my taste buds. You need to stop in and try this place out.

I have been told by multiple friends to go check this place out, that they have the best ice cream, well I finnaly went. It was what they said it to be, the ice cream is very good, very natural. I was also told that the place is always packed even on a Wednesday night. It was, the line looked longer than it actually took though. I would suggest you go.

This place is way over rated... Their ice cream isnt nearly as good as Lapp Valley and they charge more than double! There prices are WAY to high! They have a TERRIBLE set up with only 2 cashiers and you wait in line for an hour! Bottom line is if you want good ice cream for a good price in a good amount of time go to Lapp Valley!

Recently went for the first time and the place was crowded! Had to decide whether or not it was worth waiting and it was!!!!! With how busy it was the place was very clean. Great people to have a conversation with while waiting. Dont let the line decide wether to wait because the different and unique flavors is more than worth it!

Great place for a delicious ice cream. Flavors vary from simple to complex, but never overbearing. They do allow you to taste-test before you commit, and they dont really mind if you try them all. Great staff to walk you through the process. If you leave dissatisfied or hungry you have no one but yourself to blame.

Great selection of ice cream flavors and a great setting in Lancaster. There seems to be ample parking and the place has been busy every time I have gone! The building itself is beautiful - not only can you watch as the staff makes the ice cream in-house, but there is also a small playground area for kids.

Best ice cream I have ever eaten. Addicted to their honey lavender ice cream. All their flavors are good. Wide selection of home made ice cream. Staff very fast so even though most times the line is very long it moves very quickly. I highly suggest you try them. I promise you wont be disappointed

My five and three year old daughters are the final judges here, and they rank Fox Meadows Creamery at the absolute pinnacle of ice cream achievement. Ive tried to tell them that there are other very good options in the area, like Lapps at Green Dragon, but they insists, Fox Meadows is the best!

I love going to Fox Meadows Creamery!! The ice cream is delicious, and they have so many delightful flavors to choose from! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely and "homey". There is a nice porch with comfortable chairs to sit on outside. I look forward to going there again!

This is the best ice cream shop in Lancaster County! If you want home made ice cream this is the place to go. I LOVE the cookies and cream but they are all so good. There is a huge wrap around porch outside and a tractor playset for the little ones and a coffee shop feel on the inside.
