First, to the reviewer saying they wont sell ammo to anyone from NY: are you confused? Why did you think you could go across the state lines to PA and buy ammo? As PA residents, WE can go buy ammo anywhere we want. But, my take is, they have gotten folks from NYC wanting ammo. It is illegal to be armed in NYC, as is buying ammo. Theyre protecting themselves. Also, its not illegal to refuse to sell anybody ammo. Period. I had a GREAT experience with Sarco. They let me handle every single 9mm in stock, let me hold it for a few minutes, and answered every single question I had. Their prices are very fair--barely above dealer pricing for the models I handled. Did it take a while to run my background check? Yes, of course. It usually does. You can thank the government for that, not blame the folks at Sarco. Were they busy? Yes. Do they maybe need to hire more help? Yes, but I understand knowledgeable folks are hard to find for FFLs. If youre walking in here expecting this to be like JCPenney, with someone greeting you and hoovering around you to help you--youre not gonna get it. But if you are truly interested in something, you will find very knowledgeable folks to help you--as soon as they are done helping someone else. Let me say something else as a woman. Often, when I go into a gun store, I am treated poorly. I am treated like I am some stupid chick who doesnt know squat about guns, ammo, or anything regarding the shooting sports. I am usually laughed at, talked down to, and generally treated like a stupid child. Sarco didnt do that to me. It was refreshing to not have to "prove" to the folks there that I knew my stuff. They were awesome! They didnt even ask me "how much do you know about guns", which would be a fair question to ask anybody! Anybody should be at least going to Sarco if youre considering a new firearm. I loved my experience with them and, if I get the opportunity, I will return for my next purchase.

Hi everyone , This is the second time I went to sarco and I definitely wasnt disappointed. On my bucket list I wanted a Mosin nagant they had about 30 of them. I was lost in inexperience I didnt know what to look for the guys from the front came right over to help then he asked the gunsmith Skip to come out flashlights were beaming from all directions yep this is a good one, You just dont see this kind of help in most shops this gun was pristine. My goal was to get an Arcangel stock for it guess what another gentleman came walking out with one of them. Now I had a smile from ear to ear. The second time I came no different I wanted a sniper bent bolt for the Arcangel project again they came out out to help again including skip the gunsmith . The bolt I liked was missing a piece he brought to my attention and ran in the back fixed it dropped in my hands all done again smiling from ear to ear and I also needed a Mosin nagant wrench a gentleman from the front ran down to storage and found one. When I left both times I was delt with respect, professionalism and I was happy. Jim

I ordered a AR-117 kit on 5 February 16. They were out of the lower kits that are in with the AR kit and nobody could give me a date of when they would have them. I called about a week later and asked if they had received the lower kit yet. No was the reply. Again, I asked when they may have them. Still a "I dont know answer." So, I decided to wait a little longer. Called them and still the same answer as before. So I asked if they could ship me the pieces they DO have in stock, and guess what? "No, we have to send it as a whole kit". SURPRISE there, right? It says on there website that this kit (AR-117) is available WITHOUT stating they are out of stock on the lower parts kit and without a estimated date of delivery. This is my first time ordering from them, and I dont see any future orders with them just from what I have seen.

Basically a bunch of fools. First off, they are deceptive and have no concept of the law. They have signs up all over "No Ammo Sales to NY Residents". When pressed they gave me some line of how they were briefed and all NY Residents require a background check which is absolutely 100% wrong and they know it. Then after seeing the prices they were charging my Non-NY resident friends for Ammo and other supplies I am glad I did not buy anything. These guys are doing a great disservice to customers and themselves with their deceptive rules and practices. They dont deserve business from any State and anyone that patronizes them is making things worse for everybody.

I am a old timer from the old school. I have seen many thing change over the years most negatively. I found a place (SARCO) that is old school when it comes to customer service. There prices are good also. I travel a substantial distance to support this company and will continue to do so. The sales staff is awesome. No matter what is going on they give you full attention. FRANCO has been the greatest help with my endless questions about projects I am doing. If he dose not know he will find out and get back to me, (key word back to you). Something lost today. The manager an other GREAT person also. I feel they deserve you patronage. Try it you like it.

Sarco has a policy to not ship anything to Connecticut including parts or magazines unless it is a FFL transfer. CT state law only requires firearms to be shipped to an FFL. It took 6 Days for Sarco to cancel my order and I was not notified of why, until I called. While they were very nice this company has gone the way of cheaper than dirt and I nor anyone I know is going to pay a 20-50 dollar charge for a FFL to recieve my package on top of having to lay shipping. The most any other site has required is a copy of my Pistol Permit to buy ammo for them to keep on file.

Sarco takes care of its customers! The sales staff are knowledgable, friendly, understanding and courteous. Andrew was extremely helpful as was Franco! The store is easy to move around in with lots of selection and cool war memorabilia. If youre from NY you cannot buy ammo thanks to your "leaders". If you go in after 3pm on weekdays, you may have to wait as thats the busiest time of day for sales and transfers in PA. Get there early and you wont be disappointed!!!

Have used their online a few times over the past 2 years to order parts for my gun shop. Had my first issue with them shipping the wrong part called customer service to get it all sorted out. Went well at first then called 2 weeks later to find out the status on the return she not only was little help but snapped back at me like I am an idiot. Well thank you very much and I will from here on out go else ware for my parts.
