Blessings From Above

I have been all over to look for a sofa and love seat. I have found one at Levin I was interested in. It was way over priced. All the other places we visited, I didnt feel comfortable sitting in them. The seats were way too long for my body and it felt like I was a beached whale sitting in them. I couldnt find one to fit my body. With out fail, we visited Thomasville Furniture which is now Quality Furniture. We walked in and went to the counter. I told the man behind the desk what we were looking for and I gave him my price range. He took me directly to the BEST set in the store. I LOVED it. It didnt feel like I was leaning back when sitting in it, and the seat wasnt made for a 6 foot person. I fit perfectly and not to mention the comfort. I didnt want to get up from it. It just conformed to my body. I could have fell a sleep in it right then. He showed me how well made it was, showing me the frame. It was real leather. He then left and gave us the run of the store. He told us to go back down and sit in it and sit in others. We did and we came back to the original one he showed us when we walked it. I did put a down payment on it and he gave me all the paper work and also gave me a free bottle of leather conditioner, which I didnt expect. I am very pleased with the purchase we made. I will update this as time goes on. We dont even have it in our home as of yet. Stay tuned for part II on the unit as it holds up. I had no problems at all with the staff. they were very friendly and helpful.

I recently visited the store with my mother, who is redoing her living room. We eventually found what she was looking for at this store, but there are definitely up sides and down sides to my experience. First. The furniture in the store is UGLY! I wanted to leave until the salesman explained that everything must be ordered and we would get to choose the fabric our sofas would have. He wouldnt say it, but I think he knew exactly what I was feeling. Dont expect to find accessories or rugs here. They have all been sitting there for 10-25 years! I saw a lamp my parents had when I was growing up in the 80s, being sold for over $300! When you get past the ugly and outdated store, however, there are REALLY NICE things you can do. We picked a sofa that she loved, even if she didnt like the covering. She got to choose fabric, throw pillows, trim, and wood color. The salesman looked younger than me, but he knew my mothers style and made cool suggestions without pushing her. In the end, we got the whole living room set, and zero accessories. THomasville, please update your store!

Sales staff sold me a Sofa and Loveseat. They would not budge on the price. I saw the sofa but the love seat was supposed to be in another warehouse. The next day the called and told me that the sofa was gone. Salesman stated it would be 8 weeks and additional $400 if wanted another one. I understand the wait, but because you cant manage your inventory I should pay more? I asked to speak to a manager; they gave me the number of the owner. He speaks about 3 words of english. I then called back to the store and ask to speak with the store manager. He was no help, and stated the salesman would call be back because he does not get involved. SAVE YOUR MONEY and PIECE OF MIND go somewhere else? I normally don’t take time to write these but this one pushed me over the edge.

The staff was rude. My husband and I were going to spend over $2000 here and the staff was so rude. We wanted to take the items with us and were handed a notice of how the staff couldnt help us and we would be responsible for any damages to other pieces as we moved. The manager just sat there with a blank stare of his face when we got upset. This store has no snese of customer service. Perhaps thats why the parking lot is always empty.

This is our "Go To" place for furniture. We started buying from Quality Furniture in 2004 and we have more recently purchased a bedroom set and entertainment center. Beautiful! We love it. The service was great and the furniture is so much higher quality than some of the local competitors.
