I was on my way back from NYC on interstate 80 and searched for a coffee shop in the Bloomsburg area and found this place with good reviews. So I decided to stop it was only 5 minutes off the highway and WELL WORTH IT!!! The place It has the ambiance of a local coffee shop with somewhat limited seating. Looks like a great place to grab a cup and read a book and study. Vintage wood floors with a few small tables and few small chairs/couch to hang out in. I dont know if they have a private lot but all I saw was street parking so you might have to parallel park. The staff The guys working had suggestions ready to go when I asked. They were very friendly and patient with a me since I had never been there. The coffee I went with the barista suggestion and had the almond latte with a chai caramel muffin. Let me first say my latte was top notch. If was nice a hot which is a far cry from many places I go and they are luke warm! I have no idea what kind of beans they use but they had great flavor. A perfect balance of the almond blended with espresso. I was truly impressed. I can tell you I will be getting off the highway again next time I come down 80.

Fog and Flame is a great new coffee house located in downtown Bloomsburg PA. The atmosphere is great for studying, relaxing, or just chatting with friends. Comfortable chairs, a coffee bar area, and four armchairs dot the interior, while warm inviting brick, crème, and mahogany walls create an inviting environment. Free Wi-Fi is available for those studying, or simply surfing the web. The staff is always friendly, and seems willing to chat with those sitting at the bar. When they first opened, I was mildly disappointed with their coffee specialties (overly sweet, and lukewarm), but since I have found them to have well made drinks, always hot, and good traditional coffee as well as specialty brewed ones I have yet to try like Pourover V60, French press (my favorite at home), and Chemex. Beyond the coffee they also offer Organic cookies, Whoopie Pies, and muffins. In my opinion they should offer more variety in the pastry department, but what they do offer seems to be a great start. Over all I give Fog and Flame a solid Four STARS.

Barista Agonistes: Fog and Flame is usually quite good. But not on June 9 at 3:30 when my barista had a hissy fit. She was 20ish, lots of cool tattoos and purple/red hair. When I ordered a latte in a cup, I looked over at the case to pick out a cookie. At that point, she asked me if it was to go. When I repeated that I asked for it in a cup, she became angry and started slamming things around as she made my drink. I looked at her colleague, a nice enough guy who shrugged his shoulders and told me a cup could have meant paper. And heres the crowning indignity: it was a lousy latte -- in the wrong mug, no cute flower, weak taste. If McDonalds has a latte this would be it. Afterwards she retreated to a corner and read her phone and then stalked off to the back. I love a good independent coffee shop and Fog and Flame usually fits the bill. But not this time.

Im not originally from this town but coming to Fog and Flame makes Bloomsburg feel like home. The people that work their are genuine and remember their customers. The coffee is delicious every time. I usually get a vanilla latte and the design in the mug is worth the 5 stars alone. Not only are the staff wonderful and the coffee amazing, but the atmosphere is superb. You can go in for a quick coffee fix or stay for hours and get work done. Fog and Flame is the best coffee shop around!

Great coffee! This is a cozy spot in downtown. It was pretty crowded on a Sunday afternoon when there was quite a bit of snow on the ground. The place was packed with what seemed to be students all looking for a place with free WiFi and caffeine. Despite the abundance of students the coffee & service were excellent.

Great atmosphere, pleasant staff, and all around a good time. Coffee is a tad on the pricey side but youre paying more for the environment than the coffee. Regardless, the coffees great and the food is remarkably above average for a coffee shop.

I liked the decor and the teas were hand bagged and brewed. The artwork. On the walls are by different artists. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. Fog & Flame is a treasure in the beautiful town of Bloomsburg!
