The worst customer service ever? Because they think their ip is the best these days. Think again ppl. We waited for 45mins for the genus bar tech. and left after 2hours there with very frustrated unresolved issues. And did we get? very mean with rude attitude tech name LESLIE CHIBANAChibana plus another mean rude awful manager that didnt know how to talk to customers. What kind of a manager that did not know or did not even take communication training. Is this what Apple s new CEO training program is no experience? Stupid BRENT TOSSI did even bother to look at our 4S that has couple issues to it and he did not even try to solve the issue. But instead tried to rush us as a customer out of the store to let their employees to go home due to time to close the store. We were there for nearly 2 hours tried to exchange or have the tech to fix our new 4S that I got only one wk old due to no dial tone, so much static/ distorted words from the other with incoming calls , auto turn off your phone in the middle of conversation, others incoming calls were unable to hear my voice, problem with auto sign on wifi. So think about it ppl how can I deal with all these problems for 2 years. But they did not care.Since the diagnostic test show no concerned with software then NO CAN DO. But how long was the test? Only 30 seconds and the time they looked at my phone only 5 mins and they could not do anything and kicked us out their store. Do we know what going on with the furnitures or tv in side their house after 5 mins there? Of course not!!! So do not tell me that nothing wrong with my phone for only spent 5 mins. I am writing this to let others know to watch out or think again before go to ur store or have a second thought about ur products. So ppl be aware if u want ur money worth or satisfy with customer service. Go else where!!!!! Seriously NOT APPLE STORE IN WASHINGTON SQUARE!!!!!

TLDR: This place is extremely busy on the weekends, but they are desperately understaffed to handle it. If you need same-day service, go elsewhere. This store utterly misses the mark of customer service Apple has strived so hard to give. I wasted 3.5 hours waiting for a walk-in appointment! If you need quick service, dont even bother scheduling an appointment unless you can do it at-least a day in advance, because there arent any slots on the weekend otherwise. Started at 2:30, stood in line for 10 minutes just to _make_ a walk-in appointment, and was told the wait would be roughly two hours. I have an evening out planned at 6:00pm, so I thought "OK, out by 5:00 at the latest". I gave them my cell number and proceeded to spend time the mall with my 3-year-old daughter. Come 4:30, no text, so I walked back to the store and asked how much longer. No one had a clue, or at least no one was up front with the truth. "Were really busy on Saturdays." I spoke to the store manager, who like a professional, apologized for the extended wait, but he didnt actually help. Now, my daughter is completely bored playing the same iPad games for over an hour, and I finally get called up to sit at the genius bar at 5:45!!! I had lost track of the time, mostly because my Apple Watch is broken -- the reason for my visit -- and Im still waiting. The tech is not actually available. Too late, need to go, so I walked out. 3.5 hours totally wasted because the store has lost track of what "service" actually means: "Help your customers when they ask for it!", not "Help them when its convenient for us." Apple: Please take note here. This place is doing your companys reputation of outstanding customer support, a grave disservice. They need your help to set things straight.

I wanted to get a new iPhone 7 256gb phone as a gift for my fiance for our 3rd anniversary, so I decided that I should go to Apple instead of AT&T to get it. I WAS SADLY DISSAPOINTED! I paid in full for the phone, and they said it would take about 15-20 minutes to finalize my order to pick it up. I cruised around the mall, then came back about 30 minutes later. When I get there, they said that my order wasnt ready, and I had to come in during my pickup time which was scheduled from 5:30-6pm.... the man that was helping me said there was no way they could go grab the phone for me that I bought because it wasnt during my scheduled pickup time that they NEVER EVEN NOTIFIED ME ABOUT since they said it would be ready in 15-20 minutes What kind of business sells you something and doesnt have you leave with it at that time, nor even walk their lazy self back to just grab the cell phone?!?! This was absolutely the worst experience at a retail location Ive ever had in my entire life! The guys helping when I came to pick it up has no interest in helping me, and didnt even care about what I came there for at all. I now had to leave empty handed with $978 less than what I came in there withat, and without a gift for my fiance for our anniversary. After everything, they wouldnt give me the phone I paid for, and since I was crunched for time, I will have to go back tomorrow to pick it up. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT A SINGLE APPLE STORE, OR PURCHASE AN APPLE PRODUCTS EVER AGAIN. Do not shop here.

I have only one good thing to say about this store -- some of the geniuses who work there may be good, because now I know the management is very bad. Paid for a Mac Pro with the works for our business; it worked well for 1 year then appeared to be failing -- the dvd recorder and the processor. They stalled on repairing it because i am an old pc-er and didnt use the right lingo (DUH! 20 years on a computer but not on a mac -- do the translations, guys.) They stalled then the processor failed. Was unable to back up business files and was unable to do business. Was polite but unhappy. So here is the thing -- you can be polite, not yelling, but telling them you are unhappy with their service and that is enough for their MANAGEMENT (not a 20-year-old who might have issues with authority challenging) to ask me to hand over the computer and get my money sent to me by Apple in a few weeks. (YES, STILL HAVE A BUSINESS WITH GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS AND NO COMPUTER.) Besides not being what I wanted (I wanted my MAC back working) now i was actually pi**ed off. Still nto yelling -- but finally called Apple technicians to get the problems solved. They did it -- working with me for a month but did it -- BUT REALLY, THIS IS THE WORST SERVICE DEPARTMENT AND STORE EVER. BUSINESS PEOPLE, STAY AWAY.

Ive had mixed experiences at the Apple store. As some of the previous reviewers have written, its always PACKED here. Its always bad when you have to spend 10 minutes walking around, trying to catch the attention of an employee to help you. Once I did catch the attention of a knowledgeable looking chap, I had to push my way through a throng of children pounding on iPad screens to ask a question about one of the devices. The only reason I didnt give them a "poor" on service is because the kid really did know his stuff. And once I was ready to buy something, the technological exposition TRULY began! He whiped out his iPhone, scanned the product with an accesory on the phone, and within a minute another employee had walked out of the back with a boxed up device. He was able to check me out from his iPhone while we stood there in the middle of the store, basically eliminating the need to stand in line to check out! Needless to say, I was pretty impressed. You just have to get past the obnoxious children and swamped staff, and its a pretty impressive technological experience.
