Im writing this based on my experiences as a former full-time employee for more than 5 years. Consider this: you take a loan for $100 against "grandmas wedding ring", knowing its worth considerably more and has priceless sentimental value. You come back in a month to pay off and pick it up, but they cant seem to find it. They tell you to be patient and they will call you in a day or two. Three days later you go back and its still missing. The manager then tells you she will talk with the General Manager and get back to you. The GM, who is also a co-owner and former president of the Oregon Pawnbrokers Association, is highly skilled at minimizing the damages caused by inept store management. The store manager finally offers you a "settlement" for the amount of the loan only. You may not have realized it , but on the back of the contract you signed, it says in small print that they are liable for "only up to the amount of the loan". You have 2 choices: hire a lawyer and try to fight their vicious legal team which you probably cannot afford to do, or accept their $100 offer. You reluctantly accept the offer. Now comes the ultimate insult: after you are handed the refund, the store manager then says that you are locked out in their system and they will never do business with you again. Like it was all your fault! This really does happen. Remember, you are playing their game and they are the home team. Please consider carefully before choosing to do business with "Oregons most trusted pawn shop"!!! *** In the owners response, he brings up another good point. If you write a good Google review on the spot, they will reward you with a 1 ounce silver coin, and then offer to buy-back or make a loan on that coin for $10 Cash on the spot. So they are, in effect, paying customers for a good review!

I went to the shop Desperate. Two days from pay day and my little dog Lilly Bell hurt herself and needed an emergency procedure. I was frantic. The Latino gentleman who was helping me (Im sorry I dont recall his name) was amazing. He took in my jewelry and dealt with the many invoices he needed to do and the massive line of customers behind me. He was able to loan me what I needed to take care of my dog. I was in tears. I cant say how much this gentlemans professionalism, patience, and compassion is appreciated. I will never go anywhere else. All That Glitters has my business for life. Thank you so much. Oh, and Lilly Bell is just fine.

My husband and I wanted to have a small practical wedding and decided to check out All That Glitters for my wedding band. I found a great white gold band with 12 channel set diamonds and after trading in some old broken jewelry I never wear, I got my wedding ring for a fantastic price. Since then I’ve gone in on occasion to check for a few things, I’ve stumbled on to a great guitar for my son and a virtually brand new record player for my husband. All That Glitters has a nice clean store with friendly helpful staff. I will continue to frequent because I’m never quite sure what I’ll find.

I called today to inquire about what they would pay for scrap 14K gold knowing that the spot value is $17.82 a gram today. The person who answered said they are paying $6.00 today. Of course a business has a right to make what they want, however in todays economy Id personally prefer dealing with a company that is more responsible to its community as thats what supports it. I did check with other local business in the field and the other lowest price was was a whopping $13.00 (big difference). The highest off was Nopps Star Exchange paying full spot value daily.

I almost didnt go here because of the negative reviews, but did because a friend recommended it. Am I ever glad I did! These folks were nothing but friendly and courteous, and they gave me a better deal on my gold than a Portland jeweler did. I asked them about the negative reviews -- they said notice the dates of those reviews, and that they are a couple of years old. Also, they said they had been told by customers that tried to give a good review that the info wasnt accepted. I hope this makes it -- these people are well worth the visit.

My fiance got my gorgeous engagement ring there and we are planning to get our wedding bands there as well. The sizing is free up to 2 sizes and you are able to pick up your ring within a couple days. The diamonds in all the rings are of great quality and the prices are half what you would pay in a regular jewelry store. You also get a lifetime warranty which includes replacement of lost stones. Great customer service as well!

James hooked me up! I didnt really want to sell my stuff, he knew that without me even saying anything. He guided me to getting a loan vs selling and he helped me get what I needed.
