Ive been here a handful of times, and every time the staff is on top of it, and knowledgeable. This is the only place, I know of, in the Salem area, that sells food safe 55 gallon drums that you can make smokers out of. And at a reasonable price. You can find better prices on lumber if you do the craigslist thing, but Im happy to pay a little more for the convenience of not dealing with complete strangers.

I always try to make this my first stop for hardware before going into Dallas or Salem. On slow days I have talked to the owner for a while. Nice people who own it and work there. Just bought sand to put in the back of the truck for added weight. Swung in, paid for it, backed in, and loaded it. That quick. Brick, Indoor materials, exterior materials. They have a nice selection. Check here first.

The prices here are pretty good I can get a couple of pounds of nails or screws for $5 compared to an ace or home depot it will cost you $20 and the there lumber prices are beatable
