Place called me a perv while They stalked me to my apartment and voyeured me undressing in my apartment. They put me on probation for indecent exposure when I was behind closed curtains. They tried to pimp me. This place told me not to PMS a day before I menstruated and threatened me to shut up. Employees said a rapist was great and that I as a shaman am not, because "rapists get laid." Wonder why they want me to shut up. They called me a pervert with cancerous genitalia a day before my menstruation and today told me to shut up or else the next day without instigation on my part. Its people like this who keep my movie about sex abuse and the govt from getting made the way it was written and made into a movie tempting the audience to get hot for 13 yos and about hurting male abuse victims rather than understanding or helping them. They claimed >>>they<<< can do anything they want in a really sinister way. And I want that kind of thing to stop. Entirely.

The staff her embodies the Portland, " too cool for school" attitude. For example, today I went in to by a coffee and a scone. I brought my little card to the register and the cashier didnt say hi or hello. He just started to ring me up. The first thing he said to me was "$4.99". I gave him a twenty and he said "a penny is your change". I said thank you and he said nothing. This isnt an isolated incident. We live around the block and our neighbors and I joke about how incredibly rude "the friendliest store in town" is. It is sad when you can get better customer service at the Fred Meyer. The only reason this didnt get 1 start is because for some weird isolated reason, the team that works at the pastry case and the coffee bar are really friendly. Some how their level of friendliness hasnt spread to the registers, meat counter, or deli. Sad.

I was disappointed by how mean the woman working there was to me and my 1 year old. She was setting up the tasting area with fresh fruit and as I picked up a berry to let my child taste it, she snapped at me that the tasting was not ready yet. That I was actually stealing! I bought the pint of berries, but was left with a bad taste in my mouth. I have never been treated like that at ANY Whole foods store! My child was actually given a peach at whole foods three days ago for his birthday. Now I stole a raspberry that she was going to be giving out free, but not for another 30 minutes!!!!! I will not be going back to this store!

Ill start by saying this: I like New Seasons a lot. Its really convenient for me to have this location where it is, but Ive found that I dont use it much due to its size and very limited selection. If I shop at the Hawthorne location, I find myself down the street at fred meyer afterward, picking up the things I couldnt get there. All the standard new seasons pros apply to this location though: Top quality stuff, reasonable prices, super friendly and happy staff, knowledgeable specialists in each department. The cons are limited selection, and cramped feel. Compared to the location on Division, this is new seasons lite.

One of the smaller New Seasons in the area, but still manages to squeeze in all the essentials. This is not a place where we do the bulk of our shopping. We go primarily for their meat selection and some of the produce. Many of the other items can be found at any store and almost always cheaper. The Fred Meyer on Hawthorne and Caeser Chavez has really stepped up to compete with this New Seasons and frequently at a better price. We shop both stores regularly. Both are Portland based (although Freddys is now owned by Kroger).

This location has narrow isles and limited product variety compared to other locations, but everything you need. The staff is absolutely wonderful and make a large part of the positive experience here. They also play the best music- massive attack while you shop? Yes please! The prices are medium high - sometimes its worth it, other times you should really try Fred Meyers. Either way, its definitely a well managed location and worth checking out. Deli food and coffee bar also make this place worth the stop.

This store is good, but small. The only parking is on the roof, which is fine, but if you miss the entrance, its a loooong block you have to drive around to get back to it. On a completely unrelated note, I take offense at places that sell homeopathic "medicine". Im sure its profitable, but surely, as a company, you know that its garbage. Dont enable con men to rip off your customers, even if they want to be ripped off. Take a stand against overpriced, fake medicine!

New Seasons as a whole is an excellent store to buy organic, natural, and local groceries. It is locally owned and cheaper than its major competitor, Whole Foods. This Hawthorne store is on the small size (by design). The aisles are tight and they dont have everything that the larger stores have, but its rare that I dont find everything that I need. And dont forget, they have parking on the roof. (I missed that on my first visit.)

Really friendly place, as they like to say about themselves. A bit more expensive than larger grocery stores but the produce is usually better, and usually organic. Their deli section is popular, and they make hot woks with your choice of ingredients while you wait. They offer discounts to military and seniors, each one day a week. Great place to get groceries.

From the produce worker who will slice a fruit or vegetable and give you their opinion about the quality to the vegan employee who will tell you what they think of one product over the other, New Seasons is about providing quality and knowledgeable service. They carry local items not found at other stores and their price does not cost you your whole paycheck.

I usually buy at this store on Hawthorne. Nothing wrong with the fact that is smaller than other stores they have. No unpleasant situation till today when coming back home I couldn’t find the deli tray I bought. There was nowhere to be found in the bag. Next time I’ll keep an eye open on both the cashier and on the helper who puts the products in the bag.

I LOVE this market!! It has everything I need in a small market and more! I love how really friendly everyone is! They completely make my day and I leave smiling not only because I got the freshest, healthiest, affordable organic food here, but also I got some smiles and good cheer. That goes a long way, folks! Thanks for this awesome store!!

There are some things at New Seasons that you can’t get at other stores. My roommates shop there and create delicious meals at home. Out of all the options available they have the best quality produce generally speaking. For example my sister’s brother in-law put together an excellent meal including brisket, mashed potatoes and zucchini.

Im giving this place 5 stars because they are truly just that good.... butt they claim to be a very English pub. My suggestion is to get the option of haddock for your fish and I suggest trying to get haddock as your fish.. thays what rhe brirs use and trust me it works better. And if a small shack in salt lake can do it so can you
