What has happened to Home Goods at Cascade Station in recent months. This is a store I loved to visit when I was in Portland. It was clean and neat, wonderfully displayed merchandise. Everything was in order. I made frequent purchases. About two months ago I visited the Cascade Station and found it a complete mess. Merchandise was not in order on the shelves, aisles were blocked with carts from the stock room, the line waiting for a cashier was really long. I put the merchandise I had selected back on the shelves and left the store. This week I again visited Home Goods at Cascade Station. Even before entering the store, shopping carts were all over the sidewalk, the store was again in complete disorder. There was merchandise on the floor, thrown on shelves in no order. Stock had been rearranged so it made no sense at all. And the topper was the womens bathroom - filthy dirty. I again left the store making no purchases. Where is your management? Certainly not tending to business.

I am from Idaho and was in Portland on business and stopped in to get my mom a gift card for her birthday. I mailed it the next day when I got back to Idaho and some how it never made it to her in California. I called Homegoods and I talked to the assistant manager Roger, who said he would try to help me. He could have just said sorry but I cant do that for you but NOT ROGER. He went out of his way to track down my transaction and my gift card number to see if it had been used. He called back later that night and told me that it had NOT been used and said he could cancel that one and send me a new one all the way to IDAHO!!!! I am so thankful for Roger! I wish there were more people like Roger in this world! Thank you so so so much!

We were the only people in line waiting to purchase items for more than five minutes completely ignored by three cashiers helping the same person at one register. There were numerous other employees that could have helped us. Not a single employee acknowledged our presence even though we were in their designated "wait here for next cashier" spot. They should have called for a backup cashier if they were having a problem at the one register. Or at least acknowledged us. We ended up leaving the items we wanted there and not purchasing anything. What a waste of my time. Guess Ill just buy the items somewhere else if they are not interested in my business.

The quality of the stuff and the selection is pretty good, except for furniture which they may not have in adequate variety or quantities. I liked a chair I saw here but didnt have 4 of them. I asked them to help me locate more of it at their other stores, but spent half an hour waiting on a supervisor and an employee who were rude,standoffish , and ignoring me. She didnt even acknowledge my question of if she was on the phone with the other store for me, while she was staying quiet holding the phone. Few young folks help you here but dont count on their customer service...and the prices are not that great either.

Cascade Station Home Goods is a decent store. Always busy. I needed to return an item while headed to work. There was a very long line, I asked if I could return the single item. The clerk said that I had to wait in the line. If I was buying, I could understand the wait but I had already waited in the long line last night to buy the item. I think home good needs to rethink their checkout lines. This is the reason I avoid this store.

I love home goods but I did not have a good experience at this store. I older women came up to me and was very rude and in so many words told me to leave because they were closed but they didnt announce that nor were any hours posted. I didnt realize what time it was. I had done nothing wrong and had barely made my way to the check out.

Wow- 15 minutes on whole when finally somebody picked up and said oh can I help you. No one went to look for me all of that time I was on hold. their recording says trying hard for the best customer service. Trying hard? I dont think so. I will it meant Im just venting here. They never read these reviews clearly dont care

I LOVE this place. Cute stuff. Great prices. Better than Ross by far. Discount stores dont have the best customer service to begin with, so I dont understand all of the complaints. Go in. Buy your stuff. Leave. Keep your receipt! Again... LOVE this place.

I love HomeGoods! I have always had wonderful customer service! I love that they bring in holiday items early. They have the best selection for kitchen gadgets, dishes, childrens room decor and toys. I shop there often.

Called Homegoods Portland, I was looking for a specific piece of furniture. The associate answered my question, but she really was not pleasant on the phone. Ill stick to the Beaverton store.

I like their seasonal selection of items right as you go in. The furniture seems overpriced but I guess thats because I come from Ikea right next door?

Cheap-ish stuff. Worst customer service ever! People just strolling around and acting like you bother them. Lame. Treat me like I remotely matter.
