I brought my engagement ring to be sized. When going over size options, we had originally decided on a 5.5. My ring was a size 7. They are really awesome with same day repairs, because I dropped it off around noon and had it back the same day. Unfortunately 5.5 was actually too small!! So I went back the next day to have the ring loosened to what is now a little over a 6. The only reason I am giving it a 3/5 instead a 5/5 is when I went back, the Jeweler told me there is a small crack at the head of the ring where the band and the head meet. He told me this happened from the stress of resizing the ring yesterday. He only told me this after I asked for the ring to be resized to a 6, which can cause the tiny crack to actually break. If the crack breaks, he told me there would be an additional charge. The ring did break from the stress of getting it resized twice, and I paid the additional charge because I didnt want to be difficult. However, I found it a little bit unsettling that the crack wasnt mentioned when I first picked it up, and only after I went back the next day. I also thought it was a bit odd that I had to pay an additional charge to get the crack repaired on my ring that was essentially caused by getting the resized there. A nice small family-owned vibe jeweler. Lucy the Maltese greets you at the door, so thats super cute.

Ive been shopping around the greater Portland area for several months in search of the perfect engagement ring. Most places were willing to give their advice, although it seems like the majority of places I visited I felt like I was being pushed in one direction - or they really were lacking customer service. I eventually came across Goldworks Design Manufacturers and was very happy with their service & willingness to work with my situation. I ended up deciding to use an old family ring and took it in to Goldworks to do some work, and was very pleased with the results! The ring looks fantastic now, and my fiancee is proud to show everyone the newly restored/resized family ring. Darren was great to work with, and I honestly wouldnt be taking the time to write this if it werent for the excellent service & workmanship. I recently commissioned a custom engagement ring from Goldworks, and I was exceedingly pleased with the service and end-product I received. I initially emailed many of the local jewelers about getting a ring made that featured moissanite, and Goldworks was the only establishment able to satisfy my requirements. They were patient with my fiancee and me when it took multiple revisions of their wax molding to get the ring sculpted just right. In fact, the last couple revisions were re-sculpted within 24 hours of coming in with critiques. The quote I received was fairly priced and ended up being the actual cost I paid. I took in a David yurman ring that had seen better days. It had some pretty deep scratches and the face of the ring that was supposed to be black was very faded and scratched. I walked in and asked if they could help me and they said they can get it looking like new. She gave me a quote and the price was extremely reasonable as I thought I would pay a pretty penny to get it fixed. I was told it would be ready in a couple days and they would call. They were very friendly and even finished my order sooner than expected. The ring came out looking new, they explained to me what exactly they did to it and they even gave me tips on how to care and clean it. Great place!

My Fiancee came to Goldworks to get the Engagement ring my father had gotten my mother and a ring passed down from my Grandmother to me made into a custom Engagement ring that I could carry my family with me. Not only is the ring absolutely GORGEOUS, but, they went above and beyond to make sure it was exactly how he designed it for me. The ring is currently being resized as it was too large(Its a 6 and I am a 4 1/2!) But I cannot wait to get it back and brag to everyone not only about the great quality, but the one of a kind job to represent our one of a kind love <3

15 years after renewing our vows, the fancy wedding ring needed some repairs. We got a outrageous quote from a chain store to repair/rebuild the prongs that held the diamonds in. A friend recommended Goldworks as a small local jeweler that does great work. We picked up the ring yesterday. The ring looks outstanding, the repairs are perfect and the price was about 60% of what the big chain store quoted. An excellent repair, a competitive price, what more can you ask!!.

He spent a great deal of time helping us decide which diamonds to put into my ring that belong to my finances late mother. He then, again spent quality time when our bands came in with sizing.
